Weapon: Null-Ray Rifle
That's funny, because I don't think Leader Starscream is that tricky or advanced. I mean, any figure who's in the same line as ROTF Prime has to be REALLY advanced. ROTF Prime puts every Masterpiece figure to shame.

I'm also thinking Masterpiece Skywarp. Just how the scale-model-accurate F-15 bursts into dozens of parts, then comes back togeter to form a modern update of one the coolest TF characters from G1.

Exactly my feelings. Some might argue that Masterpiece Megatron might be more complex to transform, but...

1. He's difficult to transform, but in a painful way. I find nothing FUN about the transformation, and I keep having a fear I'll break something and

2. He doesn't look THAT good. To be a Masterpiece should really have everything including good looks, and this guy just looked spindly to me.

I am surprised they never tried to capitalise on the ROTF Prime mold and slap the "Masterpiece" on him. At least not that I know of.

ROTF Leader Optimus and Starscream. Aswell HA Jazz. OF those three, I think Jazz is in my opinion the most advanced of my transformers.

How do you mean? I'm interested because of all three, Jazz is the only one I haven't opened.

Well, Jazz is extremely accurate in both modes (actually, more-so than ROTF Prime). This car mode actually has seating, opening doors, and a very detailed interior and exterior. His robot mode looks EXACTLY like his on screen counterpart. He's actually just as accurate as ROTF Prime. The only difference is that Jazz's transformation is actually enjoyable and not overly complicated. ROTF Prime will make you want to throw the figure against the wall when going from Bot to Alt mode.

i agree, ROTF prime is and always will be the most complex movie figure in my book. and the best ;) also another complex one next to prime is HFTD leader starscream.

Kind of forgot about Leader SS. That is one hell of a great figure in just about any way you slice it. And for the record, I like the tatoo standard version best.

Both modes are great. Articulation is far better than expected (great balance). The transformation is fun and somewhat intricate, but it isn't so fiddly that it becomes tedious. It is a great figure.

Actually, I picked up HFTD Sideswipe yesterday and I think he's actually really good. Reminds me a bit of the RiD Brothers

This is the bot I came in this thread to mention. Great posability, 3 fantastic modes that all look great and are easy to form, and a combined mode with Ultra Magnus (which is a lot harder, but I can forgive that).

One of my favorite Transformers of all time.
