Hopefully they'll be released sooner than 2012, I really wanna get Mirage and Wheeljack(yeah, eat it Bay, they aren't Q and Dino. HA!) But I'd like to see any new product on the shelves before 2012.

what is more human looking than the faces on the G1 cartoon, i mean.. most of them have normal human like faces.





most of them have noses, human looking mouths, the only thing that is different is that they have lines on either sides of their faces. otherwise the heads look like a human with a helmet.

Blue Mercedes Wheeljack? But what about White Mercedez Soundwave? There ARE Decepticons in this film too. At Walmart, there are multiple Primes, Sideswipes, a gazillion versions of Bumble Bee and now more Autobots? Don't the Decepticons in this film outnumber the Autobots quite a bit?

at least we're getting a soundwave. but you're right. we've gotten so many autobots, tons of autobot repaints, skids and mudflap who aren't even in the movie, i wish they'd focus more on the actual movie characters. the last time a checked there were three dreads in the movie.. instead of giving us three, they give us one. hell, they were in one of the most pivotal moments in the movie. at this point i wouldn't even mind a couple of the protoform decepticons.

like i said, i wish hasbro would focus more on giving us figures of characters that were in the movies. not just LOADS AND LOADS of repaints. but i don't hold out much hope. they did this for rotf. they couldn't even give us scrapper. i don't expect two more dreads. i expect probably 4 or 5 more bumblebee repaints.

me too. i don't even want to think about all of the crappy repaints we're going to see between now and then.

i still have a minuscule amount of hope that hasbro will prove me wrong at sdcc and give us some new molds.

i personally like human looking robot heads like the wreckers'. those give me an idea of what a realistic g1 scourge's mustache would look like and they look do look like human heads but with a distiction that it is still a robo head.
i think i hate movie wheeljack's head becuz it is a bit too human like, and has small eyes, plus i hate his hair. the wreckers have strips of steel for hair design, while wheeljack actually has (from what i can tell) actual hair looking things( fiber-optic wires maybe?)it is just too human like for me.

I hope we don't actaully have to wait until 2012 to get these. They probably mean January 2012, which would mean that the stores in my area might get them by March or April if I'm lucky. Hopefully we won't have to wait even longer for Soundwave. His lack of mention in this does worry me a bit (not so much that we won't get a figure at all, since he was in computer listings; just that we won't for a long time).

I gotta defend starwarrior1227 on his comment. I think what he is trying to say is that the thin balding hair and glasses on Wheeljack were going way too far. It just looked dumb. If the G1 cartoon makers made a character that looked like that in 1886 the kids would have crucified him. It took years for me to accept Wreck-gar, Scourge, and Unicron wearing goatees.

As far as Mirage, why paint him when you know Target will make an exclusive repaint blue with white stripes ??? Remember their G1 versions of movie Starscream, Jazz, and now Space Case ??? And then there was TRU movie Hoist, Mixmaster, and Soundwave featuring G1 colors. Still waiting on a red Ironhide though...

Sorry, gotta agree with Blurrz on this one too. Sometimes people just don't get a chance to see movies when they want. It may have been out for 3 weeks, but some people might not have all that great a schedule (kids, 60 hr week job, etc.) There have been occasions where a I haven't had a chance to see a certain movie, yet a buddy of mine has, and wants to tell me EVERYTHING about it.I. myself, don't like that. I'm sure there are others too........
