That's kind of a stupid comment, especially from someone like you. If "it's just painted numbers on a plastic toy", then Transformers are "just plastic toys". If that's really ALL they were, none of us would be collecting them, spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on them, going to conventions every year, or spending time here discussing them. The fact is, to us collectors, they're NOT "just plastic toys", they're much more than that. We're passionate about our hobby, and that passion extends to details like the paint jobs and decals. To dismiss the importance of details like paint jobs is to dismiss the entire hobby. If they're just plastic toys to you, why are you here?

However at the end of the day, they are just plastic toys (sometimes die-cast) that will still be around when we are all gone. Not dismissing the hobby or the OP, just saying that it's a minor change and I find it wierd that it's something to get pissed about.
