Rodimus Prime wrote:OK, thanks guys. If Nightbeat is a Hot Shot mold, i might as well just pick up Dion instead. Much cheaper. But it doesn't look as good.
I will try for Sentinel first, but I won't offer too much for it, it's not like I have a money tree outside. I just sold a bunch of TFs and decided I earned myself a rare goodie.

Dion is based on Universe/Classic Hot Shot--which was a reinterpretation of the original Armada figure. While the molds were both originally purposed for the Hot Shot character, they are completely different molds.
(I don't think the Universe mold makes a very good Dion, myself. But I'm not impressed with any of the Nightbeat updates either, including TFCC's.)I will try for Sentinel first, but I won't offer too much for it, it's not like I have a money tree outside. It's hard to argue with the awesomeness of Sentinel Maximus. At the prices he commands, he's too much of a niche character to have much appeal for me. But I can certainly appreciate his appeal.

Yes, he was. The colors just didn't do it for me and, as I said, the headsculpt could have been adjusted. That toy felt like a missed chance.

Yeah, and last I checked, it's hella expensive. Was it very limited or something?

Really? Wow, should have picked him up when the club was trying to clearance him out.
