Tidalwavex wrote:2- Armada megatron,$27 usa ultra sized. the robot mode needs more poseabilty especially in the legs. their needs to be walking legs, splitting to the side legs. bending knee joints. a ball jointed robot head. GET RID OF THE REINDEER Horns on the robot head. still make the toy compatibale & combine with armada tidalwave. must come with the minicon & have minicon ports on the toy.

Figures to be made in this day and age - trying to homage a toy made 10+ years ago is going to have to make sacrifices. The quality and thickness of plastic in today's figures is shoddy and has seen better days. Paint applications and quality control are laughable. Don't even discuss distribution or the declining size of deluxe figures.
Looking at any characters from Armada, which we've already seen with Hot Shot, will just get butchered. Jolt is just an aside. It's next to useless as it doesn't benefit or interact with Hot Shot, other than to pop on to his one powerlink port. Articulation and poseability may increase but the cost is just too high for an Armada purist like myself. The interactions with mini-cons gimmick is what the line tried to sell to begin with. Sure, a rendition of Optimus Prime or Megatron would be appealing for me, but is it going to be big enough to replace the original, and is there even a big target market for that?.. No.

Generations Hot Shot looks way better on my Classics shelf than the Armada version does.
That's my sentence.

But there's no G1 Hot Shot![]()
