Nobody is denying anyone the right to ANY exclusives, Sir. However, when there seems to be MASSES of exclusives pouring into one market and barely a trickle of anything coming into another people have a right to at least vent a little. Heck, we aren't even seeing hide nor hair of stuff we're SUPPOSED to be getting half of the time! Meanwhile, EVERY DAY I see Japan getting "Arms Micron this or that" or some awesome Hasbro item which just happens to be meant for some market on the other side of the world, while we in the US and Europe seem to have been shoved onto the back burner.
Maybe you live in a perfectly centralized geographical location where you easily have access to ALL markets and never have to deal with this frustration, but most of us don't. M'kay?

By that same logic, any store-exclusive should also not exist.
It's a marketing device!

What I meant is - I am shocked that this many exclusive repaints are being released at one time in one market by Hasbro as an exclusive. I am not convinced that these will only be released in the Asian market. I bet Hasbro has plans to roll these out in other regional markets as well.

Note that the Arms Micron figures are not an addition to the PRID line in Japan, they ARE the PRID line, meaning that for any deluxe figure you can buy for $15 Japan pays around $30-$35 plus they have to apply stickers...or they need to pay for the import costs of figures we can get here on the cheap. Note also that the US gets Botcon, the TFCC, all of the media (you don't want to know what the cost is on importing tiny 40-page comics but it ain't cheap), the TRU exclusives, the Walmart, Kmart and Costco exclusives and so on. The US is waaaaaaay in front in terms of the availabilty and cheapness of figures, both exclusives and general releases. Even Japan is only second place.
It really pisses me off when another country gets an exclusive and western fans (not meaning to victimise you in particular) start bawling. Sometimes you can get off the swing and let another kid have a turn, huh?

I know! Hasbro's gone out of its way to kiss some Asian market hyne recently. More to the point-aren't Asian stores pegs crammed full of shelfwarmers too, or is it just the US and Europe? Are the Asian retailers just shovelling the surplus Bees and DOTM stuff into a great big furnace and calling Hasbro saying "Send more product! Your'e not sending us enough product!" ? WTF?
