Does anyone believe the rumors that Megatron will only have about 20-30 minutes of screen time?

i believe it. for most of the movie i think hes just in captivity and is defrosting.

yeah probably but i wouldnt mind seeing him change from standard mode to battle mode just once we see prime and bumblebee do it why not megatron have to wait and i guess.

well we see it kind of. he does it fast and is flipping, but hes goin from his alternate mode to his robot mode. its in a couple of the trailers.

ye i suppose that's true. it will be cool though having all of the Deceps. in the huge 'final' fight.

I'm reading the book, and he has yet to show up, except in the very beginning. I hope he makes an appearance soon.

Well in this thread I shouldn't need to warn I guess.

He does only show up in the last few minutes of the film. But my reading of the script was a long time ago. As I recall, he had just enough time to piss off Starscream, beat a few autobots down...

Are you sure about Megatron getting killed? I would think he would have to be around for the sequel?

The movie minicons will come and say:
This war must end.
So they revive Megatron as a the more powerfull Galvatron which is a repaint of Megatron.

I'm positive. It's in the novel (apparently) and I've read the script. Also, they weren't sure about a sequel when it was being written so they had to make this suit a one-off thing "just incase". I'm sure he'll be back, Shockwave probably salvages him in a subplot of the sequel only to have him come back as Galvatron in the third when Shockwave's out the way

He actually has a lot of screen time. The entire opening of the movie is dedicated to him, every Sector Seven scene shows him frozen, and he has about 20 minutes of screen time out of his frozen form. Also, if Bob and Alex are right, Screamer insults Megs quite a bit. He should'nt be shown in action much anyway. He's the big reveal, the mighty enemy.

oh man! i kinda forgot about having SS and Megs fight. i wonder how they will incorporate that in the last part of the movie since that is when megs finally gets unfrozen.

Perhaps Megs gets unfrozen earlier in the film than we thought.
