No, instead, they just made a big 2 hour car AND toy commercial without any real regard for the brand, the movie product, and the tradition that got it to this point.

That is funny considering the original series was little more than a 30 minute toy comercial. And the producers have even admitted as much in interviews. If this movie were nothing but a 2 hour commercial it would actually be following the tradition perfectly. How ironic.
