Transformers Toy haul thread

The biggest problem with this thread is how much modern stuff there is and not enough vintage stuff.
And not just vintage stuff, obscure vintage stuff. So let me help correct that.
Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus stamps. As soon as I saw them on eBay I HAD to have them, not just for the OP/UM collections, but because of how random, obscure and cool they are.
To transform them you ... and stay with me on this because it gets complicated, swing the legs down, swing the head up, swing the trailer down. *BOOM* DONE!
Very very happy with them.

That is pretty cool! I don't believe I've ever seen them before. Neat find!

I hadn't either until I saw them on eBay. Doesn't seem to be much info out there about them other than they were produced in Japan by HG Toys in 1986

These remind me of those little Takara Transformers Q.
Very neat!
And because basically no one know about them, I bet you got them at a good price.

ehhhhhhh...$115.40AUD, so I don't know if you'd call that a good price or not.
I was happy enough to pay it because I've never seen them before and they both fit my two particular collections.
The hardest part about it was the auctions ending AFTER I'd gone to bed, so I slept lightly and woke quickly when my phone started giving me eBay alerts.

Well that price sting a bit, but considering that I never ever heard about them in the first place, that's still one incredible find.

Got another Transformer to check off my bucket list. I originally got this sideburn back in 2003/4 and I played with it until it literally fell apart ( I was 3-5). I have about 50% of my first one on a shelf still and now I have this one to display with it. Picked him up for ~$42 NISB. It did hurt to open a little bit, but I had to so I could play with it again. Also got Marvel Legends Toxin because he looked cool.

My mistake! Sorry I had checked the first post to see if there were rules and saw none so I thought it was fine.

Just got Earthrise Starscream while my friend bought leader class Earthrise Optimus Prime. I'm loving the impressive amount of accuracy for a voyager figure

This week hauls:
First off, a pair of Transformers Energon Autobots that I finally found at a great price on Ebay, Inferno and Roadblock!

Both almost 100% complete. Only Inferno is missing a gray leg panel. I'll have to hunt that down in due time.
The bot modes are solid:

And the "let's pretend we are an adult to see that R rated movie" mode is pretty nice, albeit a bit brickish in the legs.

Next, from my local geek store I got the Transformers Beast Machine Hammerstrike!
And for just 20$CAN plus taxes! Compared to Ebay, that shark was a must for my Sharkformers collection.

It's small, yes, but I really like that zombie shark look. However, the transformation may be simple, but it's scary. This is an old toy. The joints are stiff, tiny, fragile looking, and some are made out of brittle clear plastics. But once the task is done, you end up with one of the ugliest bot mode ever:

EEEEeewwwwww. Disgustang!
And I love it so much!

Oh, and the shark is a Vehicon.

Hammerstrike can also change which species of Sharky-boi he is simply by removing his launcher too.
Anyway...
I haz a Sunny! And he didn't come through my March pre-order, but I still got him cheaper!
Also another fun thing I saw while getting my grocery shopping done:
I might have to make a Wednesday Aldi run now.
You know, as a kid I never made the connection between the G1 Sideswipe toy my brother passed down to me and the characters in the Beast Wars show on TV, until Michael Bay had Sideswipe as a Corvette.

Wait... That IS the BM Maximal symbol.
Did they change the faction symbols look just to mess around? Like if let's say, for Transformers Energon the Autobot symbol would look like this:

Man I was waiting on a deal for Scorponok but he eventually sold out everywhere locally (good for Hasbro I guess). So when I found one (there was only one) locally the other day, I jumped on it. Found another sought after item as well

Nice score!
And especially for that cassette duo. I didn't think it was possible to still find it in stores.
As for Scorponok, I'm sure there will be some restock... eventually.
