That Ginrai is a thing of beauty

I still wish I could have attended a single Botcon, and this one in particular. Or the Shattered Glass one, would have loved to be there too

You never ever refuse free Transformers! Even if it's a legends class figure from a regular store, much less a freakin' convention exclusive set!
I was just rubbing it in a bit, but seriously...it was a BotCon set... It was nice of your dad to do all that for you, so I guess I see why you would feel hesitant...if it were me I would have taken him up on the offer and paid him back later. And yeah, you should have met Judd Nelson as well. If I had the opportunity to go, I'd have had him sign my Breakfast Club DVD as well as TF:TM. I did get to meet David Kaye in 2011 and he signed some of my Beast Wars stuff. Very nice and patient guy.GeekyGamer Gal wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:GeekyGamer Gal wrote:Ahh, Botcon 2016. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and guilty at the time, and the deal was the general admission was my B-Day present and I was paying for everything else I wanted. My father, by this point had already upgraded to the early admission for all of us, and had tried to sell me on getting the Judd Nelson experience, which at the time I didn't even pack my G1 Roddy Prime because I was more focused on David Kaye. Who I am still trying to hunt down to meet at a convention, because the Botcon staff never updated the website until the Saturday I was there that David was only there Friday. My parents were also having fun exploring, and the line for the exclusive booth at 10-ish in the morning was already about 2 hours long, so I didn't want to cut down on their fun.
But, yeah, I was kinda an idiot.![]()

Now that would be some long term planning!

My Dad is crazy enough to pull stuff like this, but much like the Lilo and Stitch VHS (Primus I'm getting old) that he bought and left in a drawer for 10 YEARS before giving it to me, if it were to happen it would be some years down the line.
