This thread is for posting your personal hauls. If you are Mr. Stan and it is your haul then it belongs here. If instead you are just showing someone's review that you found, that would belong in the appropriate forum thread such as Siege, or MP or Studio Series. Or in this case, I believe there is a Prime 10th anniversary thread.

Got SS Blitzwing! I bought it from Amazon. Usually they use a box, but this time, some genius desided to use an envelope.

So as expected:

It may not be appearant on the picture, but the clear window of the box also show signs of being splashed with water.

As for the figure itself, it's BAD. Really bad. The bot and jet do look good, but the figure suck to play with. Too many parts that pop off at the slightest touch. The chest of the bot don't lock in at all. It's impossible to align the arms straight with the wings for jet mode. It is not fun. At all.

So, 45$can wasted. I don't think even a great Repro set to turn him into Starscream can redeem this toy. #-o

Zelda, nice to see you're enjoying the figure. I haven't even opened mine up yet. I'm waiting until the trilogy is complete, and open them up all at once. The only ones I couldn't help were ER Screamer and Scorponok. Also, good to see Snappy finally got his snout out of that pile of **** you had it in. :-D

D-Max, which guy? I see 2.

-Kanrabat-, that sucks to hear. I saw Blitzwing on the shelf last week at Wal-Mart and wasn't impressed. Glad I went with my instincts and left him.

I got Thunderhowl, but he included the last piece of Maccadam, so he's there for that reason.

Blitzwing is really dang good, it's a fun toy that is quite a joy and has tons of play value

Blitzwing is starting sound like the new Nitro Zeus, I've heard equal parts praise and disdain for the guy from various people. I really didn't get the hype for Nitro Zeus and I know I'm not alone there, so I wonder which side I'll be on when I eventually get Blitzwing.

Well, the Nitro-Zeus mold is absolutely fantastic and is solid in both vehicle and bot mode. Gotta admit that his tramsformation is a bit confusing and not easy. But at least once you get the hand of it, it's perfection all over.

SS Blitzwing should work in theory. But his unstanility and popping parts break the deal. But like you said, your experience may vary. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

See, that's what I'm talking about. This wasn't my experience at all. Once you got past the convoluted transformation I just couldn't get all of the parts to lock in place and it became more frustrating than it needed to be. I did pick up the KSI Boss on clearance, though I haven't transformed him, maybe his parts connect better? Dunno.

finally got my blog up again, and with it my galleries:

Snapdragon and Apeface are great fun. Snap being the better one, but they go nice together. I felt bad for Snap not having a titanmaster, so I improvised

Also got MP Ultra Magnus, who is a lot better than I thought he'd be. Already had Ratched and Grimlock a few months ago.

That mold does have a Chinese Puzzle feel to him. At least for him, no parts fly off as you transform.

Technically, Snap does have a Titanmaster: Crashbash, the original of Overboard's mold. Yeah, Crashbash has the Squeezeplay face, but the colors are a tad more in line with Snapdragon (and who do you think they cribbed the legs-as-jaw idea from?).

Got my MPM Ratchet in a day early from Target. If you want to get him for only $95 instead of $120 this is the week to do it as they're doing a toy deal of $25 off a $100+ purchase.

Also my Manga volume 3 came in from Amazon.

One giant down, 2 to go! Even though this guy is very simple, I do still love it and I am glad I got him complete for a great price ($53 shipped)! One bad thing though is that the battery spot is corroded, any tips or videos on how to clean them up?

A couple of options that would need some Q-tips:

Coke (the soda) is very good at removing battery corrosion on automobiles, but can make things sticky.

Vinegar not as effective, but not sticky instead you get that strong vinegar smell. Although I don't think it would be as bad as Burn's infamous sticking thrilling 30 Whirl.

That's one great find, especially if 100% complete with his minicon and his key. Too bad for the damaged battery compartment.

Regardless, search restore corroded battery toy on YouTube. Take your pick.

Thank you both for the tips, I will try them out.

Looking more at the minicon, It seems that he is missing the front plow piece. This is not the end of the world, since I am still happy to have them at all.
