Got a couple new figures over the fast few days

Found some good transformers this weekend. They are all great, except for cliff jumper. My copy is very floppy and nothing tabs together. He is by far the worst Studio Series figure I have gotten (and I have them all). Leadfoot is fantastic also, can't wait to find Topspin now.

Another problem I have is with mpm Starscream. He is just so good! This will not be good for the future. I have always liked the mpm figures but I have never gotten any since the size and price. But I could not just leave him alone on the shelf. I really hope I don't fall down the masterpiece rabbit hole now...

Got for the ntienth time my favorite Starscream mold, the 2007 voyager. I once had the Deep Space version but sold it because it was defective. When I saw this one on eBay for 25$CAN shipped, I must get it back. This time around it's PERFECT. Plus that premium paint job is awesome.

Words absolutely cannot express my sheer delight today when my Phantomstrike Squadron arrived!!! Finally Siege Skywarp joins his brother seekers!
A great story with this. After searching on ebay everyday for months, last week I came across the listing for this one, which was a used listing only because it doesn't have the packaging, which I don't care about. He's in mint condition and I ended up getting him for a reasonable price of $85. Great to see there are honest people on ebay and not just scalper scum!
With Red Wing's arrival a few days ago, my focus will now be on getting the Rainmakers. I will have to overpay but I just got a raise recently so I'm happy to do it.

I would hold off until drops their rainmaker set. Once they do that, prices should decrease.

Got for the ntienth time my favorite Starscream mold, the 2007 voyager. I once had the Deep Space version but sold it because it was defective. When I saw this one on eBay for 25$CAN shipped, I must get it back. This time around it's PERFECT. Plus that premium paint job is awesome.

Got one of these on clearance back in the day, it's still in the package. Every now and then I'll pull it out of the closet and think now it's finally time to open it since it really is a great looking paint job, but then it finds its way back into the closet. I'll open it eventually it's not like they're worth much.

On my end I got my Allicon from Target.com. He's a little better than expected. Ridiculously simple transformation and the arms aren't great, but the torso transformation is kinda nice, the backpack folds up really well and locks in place satisfyingly. Wish they had painted over all of the gray parts with that beautiful sparkly gun metal found on his lower legs. Bot mode has a surprisingly range of motion while the gator head has hinges on both the top and bottom jaw allowing for a huge bite. He's pretty fun, the way a lot of Cyberverse figures are fun despite not being the most intricate figures.

You should open it. That mold is awesome fun! Only flaw is the oversensitive missile lounchers and the shoulder wings that like to pop off mid-transformation. If you don't have a 2007 voyager Starscream open to fiddle with, open yours. I find it one of the most fun Transformers to transform. The automorph is the most satisfying to activate.

I actually have the original release and the G1 repaint so I've had a lot of fun with the mold, that's another reason why I haven't opened Deep Space Screamer yet. I am starting to feel the itch to mess around with them again...

So one of the things I'm known for is sourcing "impossible" things. Obscure/discontinued clothing, figures, DVD/Blu Rays etc I have been told my success rate is very impressive.

Currently, as the Machine Wars line starts to arrive from various sources, I have one more item to find. I bought a complete Optimus Prime, almost immediately. It was only later I was requested for the line to be boxed and/or in blister card. Ironically now, of the entire 12 figure line, Prime is the only one not in a box. So as I've had a lot of experience sourcing G1, I know there is a weird market out there for boxes. Being an Optimus figure, surely finding a box for him should be trivial right? ...Right???

Answer: NO

Next on my list, is a couple of classic Seekers:

1)Shattered Glass Thundercracker (recently featuring in one of Will's Top 5 lists)

2)The Botcon 2013 Rainmakers boxset

The former, after an hour of searching, doesn't seem to exist online. The latter, for the moment, doesn't exist at a price I find reasonable.

However, I am undaunted and the hunt continues...

Got a triple haul today!

First, I got SS Cliffjumper and got ER Hoist on sale from Amazon.ca. Cliffy will be hard to come by in storesm being only ONE per cases. As for Hoist, I planned to skip on him but he's a BIG deluxe and look sweet.

Second is my super expensive Shapeway order. Once I paint these parts, my ER Optimus trailer will be PERFECT.

Third, Winners/Marshalls FINALLY have some Transfor mers in stock after eons. Got SS Bonecrusher for only 20$CAN! This will be a fine bonus B-Day gift for my best friend, having Bonny myself already. Then, I finally decided to pull the trigger on Ultra Cyberverse Splitstream. 15$CAN instead of 30$CAN, don't mind if I do!

God how dumb is that wave 10 case breakdown. Not only do you 3 of the 8 slots filled with figures from wave 9, but you also have 2 of the 5 figures in this wave sharing the mold/transformation/engineering.

Found a "naked" BW TM2 Tigerhawk at the thrift store for 3$can and some change. Appart the obvious missing missiles, it seems to be completed and unbroken.

I'll see if he'll be taken appart, customised, or left as is on due time.

Definitely the better looking one.
But I didn't like that mold so I sold it some years ago. I only got that Tigerhawk because 3$CAN and it have interesting parts to salvage for my Frankensformers.

Took advantage of the sale/coupon/whatever you want to call it on Hasbro's ebay thing. Thse guys arrived earlier this week.



None of them are particularly great, but I've been collecting Cyberverse Grimlocks and Wildwheel is one of my favorite new Cyberverse characters (and the whole gunslinger look is cool, even if his articulation lets him down).
