I never cared for that mold. He's too big and clunky. He looks better than Megatron does, I'll give Galvy that.
I wonder why Megatron was purple, and Galvatron was light Gray? It should have been the other way around?
He'll sell for more than that though, sadly. I guess it is worth it to those who are bidding for him. I won't pay that much for a toy.

Most definitely. I have seen some mighty strange auctions of late with items being bid up in the hundreds when through a simply eBay search one can find the same item in an eBay store for like $40. Classic shill bidding or simply BIZARRE!

Thats crazy, Leader Class figures sell for around $100 here (Australia), and the figure is certainly not worth that kind of money.

Around my area, Megatron was the rarest of the leaders. I saw him once or twice, while Galvy was everywhere.

I saw both Galvatron and Megatron in retail stores many times. And I passed him up on all of them. I simply do not care for the toy design, and I don't understand why so many are willing to pay so much for him. Cybertron line got a little carried away with their sizes, particularly with Supreme SS and Leader class Galvatron/Megatron. For some reason, Leader Prime seemed just fine though. Prime I do wish I had. Oh well...

$5 says this is what happened. The original bidder wanted the figure and decided that he would just throw a starting bid of $200.01. Keep in mind that because ebay has incremental bidding, that his original bid stays at the .01. Then I bet someone decided to just throw in random bid amounts, which kept jacking up the first guys bid. So what the second guy did is kept bidding, until he was the high bidder. And then he revoked his last bid. Leaving the first guy with a $200 bid on a $40 figure.

Very possible. It's amazing how many people will bid on things just to drive the price up...
I thought there was a penalty for revoking a bid though?
