waaaaghlord wrote:So after all of you complaining about the Seekers and their respective price tag you'd actually preorder a superhero set?
Liege Evilmus wrote:They made a batman transformer(I called it when the movie crao started coming out as a joke), and yeah, whats his name (origional brushguard) always stood out as a wolverine bot to me![]()

i imagine there'd be a market for a superhero themed set, but not one so large that it'd sell as a part of the main retail line. there's always going to be people who can't get the botcon sets who will be disappointed at missing out on them, but such quirky designs as we'd be likely to get would hopefully mean for less folks sad that they didn't get them. then of course there are folks who just want it cause it is rare, and they won't bother what it looks like.
craggy wrote:how about an Avengers themed set? Not sure about molds to use, but I'd have them use the following characters as inspiration:
Captain America
Thor
Iron Man
Hawkeye (maybe another Energon Arcee repaint?)
Hulk
and Antman and Wasp as minicons?

And I wouldn't mind seeing Hasbro take a cue from this spectacular kitbash:

Come to think of it, Magneto's helmet does look a little like Megatron's.
zemper wrote:hahaha, good post! i like how these bots can do Wolvie's "Fastball Special".

It's already happened.
What have they done to him?!
Gauntlet101010 wrote:Oh, I see. Well ... I'd still prefer the Megamorphs since they're a bit more origional than stright-up repaints. But I have to admit, I'd like to see a Cybertronian Green Lantern Corps / Sinestro Corps / Star Saphire Corps member.

That idea is actually the coolest I've ever heard.. and what's totally Bonkers is that the Transformers could concievably work in that setting as for G-1 and continuity, since the Corps are Universal and in Space.. they could have visited Cybertrona ns selected a Transformer to become a Lantern, ooohhh an AutoBot with a Power Ring would be awesome!!! And the green/Black and white gloves Deco would be easy to pull off!!!
Nice!!
skywarp-2 wrote:retools, or resculpts, as far as I know, these customs were only repainted..I could be wrong... and if that's the case.. I want some!!! Give me a big Green with purple on some of the legs.. and so on...
Come on!!!! these are cool!!!!! A Super heroes set from botcon.. just one.. just a cool and fun set.. no serious timelines, etc... no names from marvel, just curious likenesses, and paint applications.. so licenses don't get smooshed..
