Aw, sorry about that. They must've just changed that since last night. I was lucky to get one, and I'm sure you'll eventually find one yourself. :-(

Why would they stop selling online? What's the difference with selling it in the shops?

I'm thinking because at the store you can get him for $30. But that would be an easy fix to change the price online or maybe Hasbro got wind of it and said it should be a store purchase only.

He's the same price in the store. Some lucky people just happened to find him on clearance, I guess. I didn't buy him when I found him in the store just because I didn't want to spend the fifty bucks at the time.

Target doesn't sell any of their exclusives online either; at stores only. I think that's probably common. And lots of times when other retailers have other special products or special offers, they're only offered in stores, not online. They want to get bodies into the stores, where you're more likely to buy other stuff while you're there.

I ordered my Starscream online, and had it sent to the store with free shipping. For whatever reason, they decided to stop selling it online.

If you did happen to get one while it was online, take your receipt up to the customer service and get your $20 difference back. I ordered one online and it finally came in tonight. I had the guy price check it for me while there...showed $30. I went straight up to the customer service desk and got the difference. I also managed to get a price match on my other one I bought back in Nov too. They didn't want to at first. It took me pointing out that I was just going to bring it back and rebuy it if they wouldn't. In the end, I got two of these things for $60 total. Not bad.

Glad I got mine when I did.

I recommend get to Ebay fast before the scalpers catch wind of this!

Too late. :( Most are over $60 starting bid, and some exceed $100. Damn, I really wanted this guy too. :(

They must have different prices from stste to state because the in store retail price in my area was $48.88 same as the online price.

When I had an employee check the product number he came up at $30. That's a shame that the price is not universal at all the stores, if you can still find him.

Mine said that too, then it changed to "CANCELLED".

If they can't get it off of backorder within 10 days, it gets cancelled, like mine and a friend of mine's both did.

Now I have to go the eBay route.
Check out my sales thread, plenty of Generations, and Reveal the Shield figures for sale!!

What exactly is the retail price? Hasbro should have announced an official retail price, right?
