They have this on the site and I called to make sure it was legit and the guy said until the webmaster changes the price to $499 it is still $349...GO GO GO!!

Nice find, but still to rich for my blood.

If I didn't already have 2 of this figure, yeah I'd be right on it, but since I do $350 is money I could put towards rent, or something vintage and big.

2? WOW..I've been looking forever for this guy for my husband....he'll be so surprised and P.S. We normally don't have that sitting around either...thank goodness for tax refunds!

ToysNJoys is one of the worst places to buy from. There are many horror stories about their service.

WOW! Guess I should of done my homework first. I was just so excited about seeing it at an affordable price. I did call and he said they had one in stock and I chose the 2 day shipping so hopefully with fingers crossed????

My first expierence was with roguetradertoys on ebay. He's now banned but when I ordered he had only 2 negs and was a powerseller. In the last month and a half he has over 100 negs. Thankfully paypal gave me a full refund. Perhaps hubby just wasn't meant to have Mr. MP 4. :sad:

I thought you were exaggerating about the 100 negatives - you aren't! He/she really did rack up 100 in the span of a few days. ouch.

Well he came in the mail today and for us this was an incredibly good experience.

He was packed meticulously with bubble wrap, and in the perfect sized box. I have absolutely no complaints. There is a little damage on the box corners, but nothing that would detract from the main photo and the inside contents. He is new, sealed in the box. I will wait for hubby to return from work to see his innards but for now we are satisfied!

Just wanted to let everyone know how our experience was. Perhaps we just got lucky. The guy we dealt with was Le.

About "sealed" Do you mean it only has some small tapes on the box which haven't been opened or "sealed" as in air-tight plastic seal?

No, not at all but it would be a dead-ringer for a pre-opened box. you're so exited about the shrink wrap foil that you might forget the tape.

What is overpriced for a toy that is not produced anymore, not ever made available in the US through the normal channels and which will pertain it's value in the coming years?

i doubt you can get one nowadays MISB south of $200.00, unless you're getting it loose or from a person who doesn't know what he's selling.

The only lower price I found was one on ebay for $329 shipped and he ended up screwing all his buyers. Everyone else is in the 4-500's.

As a seller, it was amazing watching the market jump on these. I sold one in early 2k7 for around 200. Over the next year, I sold 4 more and never had a clue what they'd end at. I believe the last one went for around 400.

It's an amazing figure. If you own ONE Transformer, it should be that one.

If you own one Transformer and can't afford/don't have space for one, it should be THS-02.
