Transformers Toys Eleventh Place in the TOTY Awards

The 105th annual Toy Fair which was held in New York City handed their awards for best toy of 2008. Transformers Movie Toys made the list at spot number eleven for the Toy Of The Year awards. You can see the complete listing here.

There was some good stuff on that list, but we got shafted!
How the hell did Lisa and her Groovy Girl crap beat us out!?!
Now what I'm realy suprized didn't place is that light listed on the bottom of the page

It didn't place 11th. It placed first in the 11th category. Which was best toy for boys.

I didn't read that so much as being the 11th greatest toy as I did it being the best boy toy. I noticed there were 2 girl toy categories. So...was there a 2nd boy toy category?

If I read the article correctly, then the award spesifically goes to "Transformers Movie Deluxe Figures". so the 2nd boy toy category must be "Masterpiece Starscream :Hasbro version"
, although he must be in the first spot.

If the toys I have purchased are any indication, the judges must have been blind!
The movie toys were garbage, I ended up returning at least 75% of them all because of either poor quality or factory defects. I am surprised it made it that far up any list.

Maybe in your opinion, but how many kids that played with these toys really cared? Most of them are of the age that they are going to throw them around and ram them into each other anyways so they kinda expect parts to pop off and be loose.
