Detroit Scouted For Transformers Sequel

Comics2film.com has reported that Michigan has now also been scouted as a possible location for Transformers 2. According to the site, the Michigan Film Advisory Commission said that six new scripts, including Transformers 2, have been submitted to them in the last four weeks, with budgets ranging from $1.5 million to $40 million. Parts of the first movie was also shot in Detroit. Detroit is also the location where the main office of the General Motors Corporation is located.

So lets see MAYBE Detroit, Philly, and Egypt...
TF2 may be a very busy movie. To me this is good, I like movies that keep moving with minimal to no lulls.

Detroit (motor city) seems very fitting...

I'm still getting used to the fact that the 1986 movie takes place 3 years in the past now.

That would be awesome if they came back to Detroit for the next movie Maybe I can weedle my way over to watch the shooting this time! I missed out on movie 1 (my dad was at work nearby when they were shooting, lucky!!).
