I'm all for the movie, but I can do with out the figures. I still really don't like it. The car mode is good looking but Barricade and Frenzy look terrable.

Man am I ever glad people out there are buying these off of ebay to show the fans what they are really like.

Frenzy looks silly.
Barricade looks a bit strange.
But his alt mode is kickarse.

Wow, those robots look terrible. I can't believe how bad they are. The car mode is nice, but it doesn't make up for it. I agree with sparkofchaos, most robot modes these days are bad. Alt modes are usually better. Which is kinda funny, then, that the movie producers chose such inappropriate alt modes for characters with the classic names (Bumblebee, Ratchet, Megatron, ...)

I'm still on the fence. Realistic Alt modes rule...just, I'm just seeing too much of a spider in his bot mode. And that Frenzy...I just feel so conflicted all of a sudden...

This was a great recolor, and it's nice to see certain aspects of it revived in the current franchise.

I think the "homage" only goes so far as Police cars are frequently black or white.

I still think he looks okay, i just hate the stupid Frenzy grill, its probably one of the dumbest things to include on this toy, and i doi believe most kids are gonna be like what??? It shows how lame some designers can be..
