I had plans for a whole new team when HMW 2.0 was to be launched, a bunch of characters from across the TF multiverse, each with their own backstory and what not. I had no intentions of revealing those plans until 2.0 was launched, but now that it's essentially dead and buried I figured I may as well just throw them all out there.
What I intended to be the leader of "Rejected Reality" was "Bloodshed". A high ranking walking arsenal Decepticon who often committed mass genocide if any of a conquered planet's natives attempted to resist. Basically, he's not a nice sort of Decepticon, and he's got the guns to prove it.
Enter the Energon Shockblast mold. The alt mode may suck but damn it's one hell of a nice robot mode. Except for that big dumb gun arm. So my first goal was to replace it, preferably with a fully functional arm that could also be equipped with a rather large gun.
This project has been off and on for a while, mostly because of that arm. I eventually ended up using an arm off an old Rotorstorm. It wasn't great, but it worked. But last week I was lucky enough to acquire a junker Energon Barricade. Now if you've never seen it,
Jin used those arms for a Shockwave of his own. So I decided to do the same.
Now let me just say here, this is NOT an attempt to recreate Jin's work. The arms are all these customs will have in common.So now that I had the arms, I could really start to work on this guy. Which i've done this weekend (having three days off came in handy). So here's the first pic of Bloodshed with new arms (can't actually make out the new gun arm but it's there) as well as SOME of his new weapons.
Did I mention he's going to have a lot more weapons? Including a nice melee weapon we don't see enough of on TF's?
