I pretty much agree...too bad Hasbro mistakenly sent it to me instead of G1 Starscream. Due to the mistake it was free, but since I have to track down SS now it still feels like a rip-off.

I've left quite a few Cheetors on the shelf now...

Granted, I think Beast Wars was retarded...But that toy just isn't appealing anyway...And he DOES have a HUGE backpack thing going on...

I'm not really sure why everyone hates TFA Bumblebee though (I mean aside from all the reasons you've all given

)...I'm not a big fan of the Animated stuff anyway and I've only gotten a few of them but I don't have any problems with Bumblebee outside of a bit of bitchiness to transform and him looking kind dumb in general (but that's not the toy's fault so much as the character design itself)

Animated Rescue Ratchet. What an eyesore. That bright yellow just doesn't work, and its a repaint of a lackluster, ehhh figure to boot.

While I agree Banana Ratchet holds no a-peel (dodges rotten tomatoes) The normal figure is a lot better than you may think.

I bought the regular Ratchet fig just to complete the lineup, but I was pleasantly surprised with him.

I was also kinda happy that Galvy was set to be a deluxe. We have enough gigantic leaders, and I can't believe so many people had their panties twisted that he was not larger.

With that said, with all of the coolness that figure has ... I can't get it to do anything but hang from a noose.

While yes, it is nice not to have a leader class figure sized leader, Galvatron should be at least equal in size to the deluxes. A voyager probably would have served this purpose very nicely.

My panties aren't twisted about it

, but I think I would rank Galvatron higher, and even place him amongst my favorites if he had indeed been larger, and thus, more imposing to the other characters!

But yeah, that's just me.

I think if the figure had been more detailed and of slightly higher production quality it would have been really awesome...Making it Voyager would have likely seen to that...And the triple-changer thing they had planned would have been pretty sweet...

I actually really LIKED the Galvatron figure...I just think it would have been a lot better if they had gone with their original idea...

I'm feeling ya guys ... a Voyager would have been ideal. I would have preferred it as well.

Looking at the positive side of all this, now that I'm into the legends class ... maybe Galvy will be hanging around those guys more.

He surely doesn't fit in with classics prime and megs, but maybe one of his few poses that enable him to stand ... involves him choking wheelie while stepping on Cosmos' face. :grin:
