Just wait, 2 weeks after their release, we'll get the Premium series of these new figs with more accurate paint.

But wait, theres more! Another month or two will go by after that and we'll get the same figures, but in a slightly darker paint color with brown spots for Battle Damage~!~!~

But if you call within the next 10 minutes, there will be new retooled heads exclusive to Target, Are You Following Me Camera Guy???

He looks awesome but i already have two of them.

Anyways, the box art is good. I like Ironhide's face. That 3/4 portrait makes him look native american.

I might say that Its just a recolored verion with a few things changed... but I know I`ll buy him once I see him in the store ..lol

So far looks like a pass from me. I'm happy with the bots I have from the first film and unless they look drastically different onscreen I'll only be picking up new characters.

Hmmm I wonder, with all these re-releases of old molds with slight "tweaks" if we'll get some better versions in another size class.. I mean if you design crew only have to design 1/2 the mold they had to for the last movie then shouldn't the quality of the designs go up? I mean, I know the old molds have to be modded to accommodate the "Mech-alive" feature, but thats a moderately cheap undertaking isn't it? having seen the new Optimus (leader) and Alt-styled BB does this show a new level a craftsmanship that was laking in the previous release?

So far it appears I may be saving money on the new movie figures. There will have to be significant changes before I (again) go out and get every figure and repaint like I did the first time around (except for the new figures). And the killer was- with the oversaturation of the movie toys if you didn't get it the first round you were able to pick it up on clearance later. I still see movie toys around here from time to time, even now TRU has the battle sets and some movie voyagers on clearance.
