I've gone to at least making 100 xp for a loss to making that much period... and if I get lucky. My cash is okay for now but it's beginning to drop and I don't see our luck changing that quickly.
Weren't we supposed to see some 0-1 and 1-2 missions and not just leaving the 0-3 for us to be xp whores for the cons?

At this point, the game is becoming less and less fun every day. I'm about to walk away until HMW2, and hope that the updated version of the game will have some *effective* balancing elements, to prevent the kind of runaway growth that some factions have acquired...

I say this not as a Moderator or even as a Decepticon Commander, I say it as a fellow player who's seen a lot of this stuff over the years.
And I also say this with absoloutely no offense intended, but that is probably one of the worst attitudes to be had.
If you walk away, you make the situation worse.
Now for a long time, even before the reset, everything weighed in the 'Cons favour. But then, and even now, we're not invincible. I remember a few players like Hoistimus, CJB, and even crazyfists coming along, they started at the bottom of the ladder when the tops were around level 6+. These three Commanders, all Autobots, clawed their way into the top 100 over time. Know why? Because they never gave up, even against the odds.
Hell I took great pleasure in beating them down. But it didn't matter what was thrown at them, they never gave up.
Now I look at guys like Nickolai, revengeofstarscream and neliz, the odds are often against them but they fight on and have clawed their way into impressive positions.
And if people are going to sit there and say "oh Burn, you don't know what it's like because you're in the most powerful faction and always have backup", well, WRONG! I come home from work and find myself constantly outnumbered, by Autobots at that! But I fight on even though 9 times out of 10 I end up running an energon loss.
At the end of the day though, you simply cannot give up. Emerald, you're here on the forums, these are one the best resources ANY player can have. Keep an eye on who's joining you in missions as well, find them, talk to them, see if you can get together to arrange to join the same missions (a concentrated effort is better than scattered forces) but simply do not give up!

well said.
Im frustrated with the odds, but by no means am I giving up.
I'll just have to sit on the corner of the street starting at some point next week to beg for a energon handout, as my wallet is rapidly emptying.
Anyone know where I can find a trained monkey and an accordian?

That's the Autobot spirit!
I may be fairly new, but we just need to charge forward with our heads down into this. Otherwise, they've already won. I go into the fray regardless of whether or not it's just me versus 6, which is brutal when you're level 0, but we just need to keep going at it.

yeah,Ive lost over 15k energon thanks to the 40% win ratio as previously mentioned. Either drop down or hide in arena, either way it hurts everyone else.

As per usual most missions are filled with 6 decepticons and usually 3-4 of them are level 2/3 with a couple level 1s and rarely a level 0. On the autobot side usually 1-2 level 2 autobots and a level 1 autobot or no autobots at all.
Having half a team of level 2s I've been able to plug them into any missions we have a half decent showing in and usually come away with 200-300 xp in a loss or 500-1k xp in a win. Typically when my 2s are in the CR chamber I use my high upgrade level 1s in the arena to gain energon..... well today there have been anywhere between 35-50 level 1 autobots waiting in the arena.
I'm no genius but I think a lack of 0-1 missions may be why most of the level 0 and 1 autobots are in the arena these days (not that I blame them its a simple matter of having a chance in the arena vs. a slaughter of our 0s/1s banded together in a 0-3 mission. Hopefully mods are noticing this because arena shouldn't be the only viable route for low level autobots.

I've got my bots spec'ed for Avoid, Speed, and either firepower/courage or skill/strength. 2 points in skill or firepower will get you weapons with enough damage output to rack up plenty of points if you hit those level 3s. I've intentionally kept them on the cusp of level 1 to deny the cons too many points. I've been managing about 300-900 xp per mission in this time frame.
I know the hours are off if you're in the US and you're not a total nocturnal like myself but any bots across the pond getting to work at 7a.m. should take advantage of this window of opportunity.
