That has not at all been my experience. Quite the opposite in fact. Courage seems to make a very big difference.

Ah, I may know what is going on. Are you aware of the "stun" effect of ramming? If you get rammed and your attacker has higher strength than you, there is a chance your character will get stunned. This lasts for 1 minute and your attacker cannot fight back. Unfortunately, one minute may be enough for your attacker to finish you off.

this is what i mean, i have courage ten and look at this

didn't know that the stun factor was linked to strength, that gives me all sorts of evil ideas
Muwah hahaha! Anyway,

Pull yourself together Electron! the just check my results page and you'll see the true definition of 'doing poo'

yet despite my continuous losses i'm earning energon overall thanks to some very good result by my level zeros

quick question does the strength stat affect the amount of damage melee and ranged weapons do?

That is not my understanding.

The stun effect is a known imbalance of the game. It has been made clear that it will not be fixed. :(

Weapon: Battle Blades
Geez, it took my third go-round to beat Chaoslock's guy. Kinda irks me because I think Stimulus Packagus is built to beat his config especially.

Yes, STR does increase damage of all types except Strafe. However, there's a catch - it never increases your minimum damage when you equip a weapon. For example, with STR 8, you deal a guaranteed 30-33% punch/kick damage to someone with little or no END. So you deal a hefty chunk no matter what, if your attack connects. However, if you equip a weapon with, oh, a Light to *whatever* damage range, say a Battle Blades (which normally deals from 1-40% damage with no STR), the good news is you CAN hit for up to 60%, since your STR increases the weapon's maximum damage. The BAD news is you can hit for only 1%, since the weapon's *minimum* damage overrides whatever STR bonus you would get for bare fisting.

so theoretically something with a high minimum damage base like gatling gun r laser guided sword is the best way to go as it boost upper damage but limits your minimum damage to a decent level

Do Punches and kicks bypass armor? like tactics

Nope. Armor is most effective AGAINST punches and kicks.

Another question, do weapons effect accuracy - I have speed 10 and an acid rainmaker rifle yet I'm hitting far less than 50% of the time...

Whenever the scores are posted, we need to look at the configs that the leaders have and come to hybrid between them. From what I have been looking at, this may be a good set up:

Experience spent: 15,592,000xp
Number of upgrades: 52
Level: 6 (+7 to L7)
Alt mode: Heavy Vehicle

Strength: 10
Intelligence: 0
Speed: 10
Endurance: 8
Rank: 5
Courage: 10
Firepower: 0
Skill: 0
Ram:10

This assumes you have 15,592,000 xp after this round. Docking Rank 1 point will bring total xp used to 15,192,000xp and still keep at Level 6. Gives plenty of room for upgrades if you want to. It gives you top speed and strength while keeping endurance and courage still high. Rank 6 is probably what most people are going to get up to since its the last of the economical armors. From what I seen, the best so far are going weaponless. Just one thing less to miss with.

Someone may want to post a good strafing set up and a dual tactic set up as I am more a ground tactician.
