Coming across all sorts of cancelled product! Here's a Megatron Exclusive that got cancelled before sculpts were done. Using the Galvatron body we were gonna do a G2 style Megatron. I designed a new head based on the IDW Megatron mini series and a new sword based on the original Takara Megatron. Would have been cool.
In the same wave we would have done a Trigger-Happy using the awesome Cyclones mold with a new head. The head shape needed to fit into the transformation but would have places the quad cannons on either side of the nose cone. Man this guy woulda been boss!!

Rated X wrote:Nope...thats not triggerhappy. Hasbro has been sleeping on triggerhappy for a couple of years now. They have the perfect mold : FOC seeker mold with new head and a nightstick repaint as blowpipe.

Triggerhappy would have been a real curveball, choosing the Cyclonus mold was excellent given the overall shape and the wings:
Plus, having an opportunity to give him Blowpipe should have pushed at least that one through. Shame it wasn't.
Maybe they were proposed for the Universe line itself, but came too late in the game to get any progress on them.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Which makes me wonder: what line were those canceled ideas meant for? I'm guessing before Generations FoC.

Holy S***. How did I not see that?
Though there would have to be some remolding unless they want to make Triggerhappy part of the seeker gang.
RiddlerJ wrote:Triggerhappy would've been interesting, but I'm not lamenting the lost of the Megatron figure. That Galvatron Mold was awful.

You owe me a proper Galvatron, Hastak! Internetrage!

You can make an unofficial dual-barreled cannon mode out of it if you wanted to. Similar in transformation the G1 figure.Agamemnon wrote:Sabrblade wrote:
Touche...though he has two fusion cannons, and an Armada Megatron Tank cannon on the arm. And doesn't transform into his iconic cannon mode.
Still, I do like that version...

RhA wrote:Close, but no cigar. A proper Galvatron has a proper backside. The wings are a no-go. I love that toy, but my mind insist on it being Megatron.
