Not gonna say it's one of the best; but this is definitely one of my favourites that I simply couldn't leave this thread be without posting.



I want that thing as a poster.

And of course, we can't forget the sheer insanity of this thing:




Please tell me you're not putting that G2 cover on the list though... it's so bad and trying way too hard to be cool and edgy.

And that cover is an homage to Roche homaging Maguire (DC's Justice League), as Milne signed it.



Which was then subsequently re-homaged by Roche (homaging Milne homaging Roche homaging Maguire).



Personally, I am a very big fan of the artsier ones, like Veregge or Biggie. The propaganda ones from All Hail Megatron (and Last Stand of the Wreckers) were also really really nice. As was this one by Roche, for MTMTE 15.



I think the IDW readership will also happily go for this one (All Hail Megatron #1) a lot, by Casey Coller and Josh Perez(after Brian Bolland's The Killing Joke).



This one will always hold a place in my spark casing.


But Sarah Stone in general, I mean..



The ones that Sara Pitre Durocher is doing for TAAO are also truly exquisite. This one in particular, but the whole arc run is a very good lesson in composition and the affective effect of symmetry and its lack.

Personally though, it's hard to pass up any of the original Marvel UK covers, there's so many stand outs (yes, I know, you damn kids and your IDW's won't understand)

Aaaaaaaanyhow, this might be a little of an easy/safe choice, but Marvel 80:
All the hopelessness of knowing it's the end, but there's that shadow of Prime in the background. Chills. Stuff has just been bad for months in the comic for everyone, including you because for the last year only very few shops have been sporadically getting in new issues. But you see that shadow back there and you know stuff is about to go down and the bad guys are gonna get what's coming.

I checked it out, but its not easy to navigate when you dont know precisely which cover you are looking for. In a recent instant, I wanted to see that nick roche megatron cover for Lost Light, but since the covers are split into different links for the seperate issues, I had no clue how to find it since I didnt know what issue that was. So it was easier to look up "lost light megatron cover Nick Roche" on google.

And right now i am looking for the cover featuring Ravage by Jae Lee for TF vs GI Joe, but I have no clue which one it it since they are all seperated on our site.

It would be easier if there was a view to see all covers and you can filter them down if you want. Like the way the galleries work. I would type Lost Light and have all the lost light covers appear. Or type Gi Joe and have all the Gi Joe crossover stuff appear. The way it is now, you can only see the covers you want to see if you know exactly from what it is, down to the issue number.

Thats not easy to do when you arent given the option of copying the image URL. I asked the site owner and there is a workaround, but I wouldnt expect anyone who isnt told this to do that. I have recomended that we have that option so that other users can share our images with the least obstacles as possible

Also, by all means I encourage people to still answer this thread, but in the meantime any fellow staffer can check what I am up to

Right click, copy image URL.

On a phone, keep finger pressed on image, copy link to image.

Eh, I just View Source in those cases.

Right click thumbnail and open link in new tab/window = new tab or window has image url.

Alternately, get thumbnail image source through right click and change "small" to "large" when adding link to forum post.

(Not defending this as ideal, just giving easier solutions)

Yeah, that looks like the UK version of US issue #75. Just to be clear, that cover itself was never part of the US run, it's a UK exclusive.
