It seems the Transformers Movie is in the running for even more awards, this time its for the Hollywood Movie Awards.

Transformers is up for Best Movie of the year, with some stiff competition from the likes of 300, The Simpsons Movie, Spiderman 3 and the Bourne Ultimatum.

Transformers has 40% off the vote with 6959 votes
300 is in second with 39% and 6773 votes
Bourne Ultimatum is a distant third, 9% with 1529

300 was ok. I enjoyed it quite a bit the first time. the second and third times, not so much.

Being that I didn't see The Simpsons I can't comment on it but the rest were huge letdowns, especially 300. Glad I voted for Transformers and it's winning.

Could Spiderman 3 really be called competition... because maybe I just saw a different movie called Spiderman 3.. which was only good for 15 minutes. Near the end.

300 WAS a good movie, though I think I was more enamored with the cinematography and stylization than anything else... Obvious choice is to vote robots!

Transformers is still ahead by a narrow margin. I suggest everybody start e-mailing folks and do what you can to make the gap larger. This movie has already broken so many records and exceeded everyones expectations by so much that I think it desrves to nail as many more awards as possible. I waited 20 years for a live-action TF movie and regardless of anyone else's opinion of it, I'm behind it 100%!!

when i saw i the nominations it looked like transformers had some competiion but very close contest be voting as much as i can.

So we know what the internet likes. Naked men and Robots that pee. Too bad characters, story, and design don't matter much. Voted for Pixar 'cause the talking rat is the clear choice for best film.
