Down_Shift wrote:I myself can can confirm these sightings as I saw them in an Ontario Walmart this morning. As usual Canadian packaging falls short of superior U.S. packaging.
What is probably the most interesting thing is 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime. While the packaging isn't as nice and doesn't include the DVD it does have something the U.S. version doesn't have. A properly painted Optimus Prime! Will this make this a more popular eBay catch, or will it matter to collectors outside of Canada?

Nope, still can't get around that one.
Zeds wrote:Down_Shift wrote:Well I picked up the US version a month ago for the DVD (which was badly put together IMHO) but I may have to get the CDN version just because of the correct colour on the trailer I assume Down_Shift?
The trailer is a deeper gray and the cab is a deeper red. I think it's worth the $70 CDN. Can't wait to see what else we'll see out of the re-issue figures this year. I have a feeling we'll see re-issue Constructions what with the movie and the moulds are still out there and all that noise.typh0id wrote:I can't recall seeing or hearing about one single kid that ever stabbed himself in the eye with Optimus Prime's shoulder...

Overcracker wrote:Was the packaging for the G1 Prime the trilingual version? English, French and Spanish or was it just English or maybe even English and French?
If it was trilingual it might make it down south of the border.
And I'd be interested in picking it up.
I'm crossing all the fingers that I can for it to be released down here.

Yes, they are tri-lingual.

Just another big step in the puss-ification of the world my friend.
