I kinda think so. Sad that even these figures are getting hit by the price increase, though.
Last time I posted in the toy haul thread I included that I picked up this release of Breakdown. They hadn't set up the display spoken of in this thread yet, but I'd found a display box of the U1.0 scout-class figures on the floor in the toy isle. It was going through them that I picked up and bought the Breakdown.nemesis-prime wrote:as far as the minicons the package has the 25th ann logo so i believe thats why they are $4
Looks to me like these are also single-carded versions of (at least some of) the mini-cons used in the K-Mart exclusive... wasn't it a 12 pack? Anyway, these look like those repaints of the Classics mini-cons. If I manage to get in there this weekend I'd have a look, see if there's any I'd wanna buy.

The legends class stuff looks like the same makeup that was being sold off there, and had been discounted to a buck last week.
And I think Universe Scouts were KayBee exclusives.
Valandar wrote:My local Big Lots didn't have the Minicons in the system yet, so they wouldn't scan. A manager went to the computer and simply typed in "Transformers", and got like eight entries. He looked at the size of them, back at the screen, and said "That's probably them, right there," and pointed to an item simply labelled 'Transformers'.
The price?
They charged me $2 each. Only wanted two, the yellow fire truck and blue muscle car.
...Now to repaint said muscle car into the General Lee...

They will save you $1.50 each at $3.50 a piece.
Does anyone know if they have the RED Hot Shot?
typh0id wrote:I popped into BigLots and Family Dollar and Dollar General today just to take a peek...
Found the mini-cons and the Prime / Megs two-pack at BigLots but didn't buy any of it...If I'm going to get the Prime and Megs I'd rather get the repaints and I figure if I want a bunch of minicons (which I really don't) I'd just get the 12-pack from KMart which is a better deal anyway...
The two dollar stores had the Cybertron Legends, the Universe Scouts and the weird Spy-changer clear guys...I bought the little clear Mirage for $2.00 just for the hell of it...Coolest thing about him is that he comes with a gun...
ShGarland_1383 wrote:[Don't blame you for passing on the two-pack. Not really sorry I bought them back when they came with the DVD, but out of the original Classics line these are my two least favorite.
typh0id wrote:And the minicons, yeah I can see why you'd want to pick and choose...I just don't really like minicons period so if dor some reason I decided I wanted some peppering my collection, I'd just get the 12-pack because I'm not at all particular about it...
But I don't expect I'll even get that
