Our friends at TFW2005 give us a wonderful look at many to be released Transformers figures pictured at San Diego Comic Con '09. There's RotF Hoist, RotF G1 Mixmaster Deco, Boxart of Universe Reissue Insecticons, and much more.

RotF Hoist, we saw it earlier this month in alternate mode.

RotF G1 Mixmaster Deco, we've seen it previously too.

Universe Reissue Insecticons, which will accompany Reissue Percepter as Toys'R'Us exclusives.

Hoist looks as expected, although his face looks like it might need some extra paint. Still kind of hard to tell. COuldn't they get it to stand up straight?

Mixmaster has rekindled my interest to buy movie constructicons. If they plan to do the rest in this color, count me in.

Yeah I have no bloody idea why they didn't transform him properly. Kind of a shame. Anyways, from what I can tell the head isn't even remolded, it's just a straight repaint of Movie Longarm.

Think im gonna pass on hoist. If they remolded the head to look like G1 hoist then id get it but with it the way it is im not. Mixmaster is awesome. Glad i didnt get him yet. The G1 deco is way better than the one thats out. Cant wait for Perceptor. i always wanted one. The insecticons i might pass on since i already have them. If i have some extra money i might buy them to keep in the box. Skywarp im getting no matter what. I wanted Starscream but could never find it since walmart sucks. Human Alliance Sideswipe Doesnt look as bad as i thought. I want to see how the transformation is first though before i decide if its a buy or not.

*sigh* I was really hoping that we'd get some new Insecticon molds for Universe rather than just a reissue. Oh well, I still might get it.

MixMaster I actually like the original movie colours for, the G1 colours don't really look too well on this mold. And I may actually get the Human Alliance Sideswipe, he's looking pretty groovy.

I'm loving Hoist. He looks exactly like the custom I made of Longarm two years ago. I might have to repaint his head, but that's no biggie. As for him not being a remold, wasn't the original mold supposed to look like Hoist, for this very reason?

As for the rest, I'm definately going to nap Perceptor and the Insecticons. Not a fan of G1 MixM. The alt mode looks fantastic, but the movie styled bot mode won't mesh well with my Classicsverse collection.

See I wasn't going to say anything about hoist or mixmaster, but your point is exactly how I was trying to size them up...

how would they do in a classics/Henkei collection? that is what I was thinking the whole time I was looking at them.. :APPLAUSE:

I like the packaging for the reissues, from what i can see, it looks like it is more "collector friendly"

Wasn't Longarm designed to become a Hoist repaint at some point?

I was going to do the repaint as well, have the extra Longarm and everything. Now I don't have to!

Hoist is all mine, baby, it's a great mold. Likewise the Insecticon set if it's not crazy-expensive. I'll pay $40. (I had one of them many years ago.) G1 Mix is nice, but I like him in his ROTF colors. More badasser.

It's like someone went out of their way to put Hoist is the worst pose possible for that display. WTF?

Anyway, G1 MM and the Insecticons are must-buys for me.

I agree with one of the posters had said about the G1 colors not fitting with ROTF mixmaster. So I am baffled as to why they would want this...

I don't have a Toys'R'Us! No Perceptor or Insecticons for me!

Now I must add two more ROTF figs to my list of must-buys! Mixmaster looks awesome. Hoist is so cool!

In addition to the non-movie characters Rollbar and Breakaway (which I already have), I must now buy non-movie charactrs Dune Runner, Blowpipe/Sideways, Hoist, Night Beat, Fearswoop, Legends 5-pack, and Mixmaster (and probably every other non-movie toy besides wave one basics, since the only one of them I intend to get is Rollbar himself).
As for movie characters, I have FAB Optimus, Megatron, and Sideways; Deluxe Sideswipe; Grav-Bots Optimus; Legends Optimus; and BK Optimus/Jetfire. I must now get HA Bumblebee and Sideswipe; FAB Skids, Mudflap, Starscream, and Jetfire; Voyager Optimus and Megatron; Gravity Bots Sideswipe; Robot Replicas Optimus, Starscream, and Megatron; Legends Devastator, Megatron, and Jetfire (to combine with OP); Battle Chargers Optimus; RPMs Bumblebee/Barricade, Jolt, and Optimus/Bonecrusher; and almost all the other Movie guys.

The Longarm mold is AWESOME once you unscrew the gun from his hand. Definitely a win, and it DOES fit in with the Classics. Almost a sort of 'missing link' between the Classics and Movie lines, along with Wreckage.
