Hmm... So while they DID use the new clip-on system for the speakers, they ALSO made it able to work even if you superglued the durn things onto that hinge. Good show!

The review felt surprisingly short. Sucks he didn't have his gun. Other than that it's great to see the speakers are on clips.

I really dig the automorph on the head.
almost makes it worth it being that tiny.

Thanks for fixing it Sorrow Six Star! :D

Yeah, that automorph on the head surprised me. I didn't expect that feature to be in there.

I'm hoping the Takara release will have painted wheels. I can't harp enough about how sh*tty these figures look with unpainted wheels...and how vast an improvement it would make with some simple paint apps. I suppose I could just paint them myself, but I don't really like making permanent alterations to my figs. Then again, as much they're charging to import these bastards now, maybe I should just buy two and learn how to paint!

And while I'm nitpicking, not sure how I feel about the hollow looking shins...

(the truth on the wheels is I like them black, it's in style to have black wheels in the tuner car world and isn't going away, so they save money and the kids think it looks sporty. win win)

You have mentioned this point several times, and I agree with you each and every time. I seriously wish Hasbro would decide to paint the wheels on these. Sidearm Sideswipe actually pissed me off when the Takara pictures came out-so much more beautiful than the American release I bought....

I think he had the legs mistransformed. It looks like they're supposed to extend just a little bit more so the silver part comes outwards more. They've looked better in all the images so far, even in the image at the end of the video. Also weird that he got the split black/white legs. Must've been the same one from the galleries. I really hope the final one turns out better.

Killer, can't wait to get this, this has to be the most 'Must have' TF of the year, coz if your not picking up this near perfect rendtion of Jazz, you probably have some sort of brain tumour thats fatal at this point.

I think he got the pre-production figure. Peaugh always gets his figures super early so I'm assuming that this is the case here. Plus, the recent pics of RTS Jazz has the all-black shins so we've got nothing to worry about there :D I would love to see the rear of the alt mode just to see if any changes have been applied.

Peaugh gets his figures early like this through KOtoys. They always have the newest figures waaay before retail does. You pay the rpice but you get the figure before anyone else..Sometimes they are missing peices since the figures are loose..

Not sure how I feel about this one..The gimicks are cool but he just looks ..lacking..This guy will defintley be getting some reprolabels or be re-painted into Sg jazz..

Let's hope, because I'm really looking forward to this fig even with the crappy lookin' all black wheels.

Although Peaugh did an epic job, Jazz looks a little wobbly to me. And his torso just doesn't appeal to me now. :-( Fortunately, I'm still going to get him, despite my opinions. Hasbro has amazing powers...

Im sure there is a way to attach a shoulder blaster somehow from another figure. Is there a way to fold the doors in or hide them to make him look more G1 ???

The legs are definitely mistransformed. I'm really excited about this figure but I hold off further judgment until Optibotimus reviews him.
