That is why I wont buy MP Megatron. They need to decide when a collectors item classifies as a "realistic replica" rather than a toy. You dont see non-firing revolutionary and civil war pistol replicas coming with orange plugs. Pretty retarded, I hate this generation of paranoia. Glad it didnt exist in my childhood.

Chillax homie. A little model paint (or even better, Gundam Marker) and you're good. Think of it this way, the regulations are in place. Hasbro can't change it, and neither can we. Is it not better that Hasbro erred on the side of caution, used the orange plug and brought Megs to market? If they didn't put that cap on, they risked it not being approved and we'd either have another tank Megs, or nothing at all...

What kills me is why the powers that be feel that putting orange paint on a gun to signify it's fake is such a brilliant idea that criminals cant think to do to a real gun. Fact is you hold anything up to a cop (or nothing at all for that matter) and make the arm motions like your holding a gun your likely to get shot. It's not rocket science.

That's an interesting thought, criminals painting real gun tips orange. Anyway, back on subject, these figures look ok to me. I find that with legends figures, it always either the arms don't have have any elbow joint or the legs don't have a knee joint. I know that's done to reduce cost but I'm always thinking how much cooler they'd be with one more set of joints! But I guess that's where Scout class figures come in.
The photo of Prowl sitting on himself is funny to me. It looks a bit like....well... he's taking a dump on himself.

Burn wrote:Prime is actually looking REALLY good. Prowl however is in desperate need of some Reprolabels, and Starscream, Starscream REALLY needs that painted head.
Agamemnon wrote:Y'all are missing the point. It has nothing to do with criminals pointing guns at cops. It has to do with children innocently pointing a toy gun at a cop.

Then you should definitely hunt down the mega SCF megatron
