Grimstone has always dreamed of power and the privilege it brings. Despite his hunger for power, however, he has always considered the needs of others before himself. He believes it is the responsibility of the powerful to protect those less fortunate - a belief he intends to aggressively enforce now that he has his own Power Core team.

Steamhammer knows there's another Decepticon team out there with the same name as his. He doesn't care. The strength granted him through the Power Core process is more than enough to destroy anyone who dares to challenge him.

PCC aren't G1. They're some bizarre sub-universe of their own. I'm sure the Japanese'll connect them to G1 though.amcgrath929 wrote:No connection to the original Dinobots huh?

Hmm, well isn't that a bummer. It would be cool to have some sort of history between the two.
It's all a bit up in the air. For example, Smolder appears in Cyber Missions, implying that they're Bayverse residents. That said, Hasbro's perspective is that they can fit in anywhere. Toys is toys, after all.Bumblevivisector wrote:amcgrath929 wrote:Diem wrote:PCC aren't G1. They're some bizarre sub-universe of their own. I thought a Collector Club magazine that came out shortly before their launch implied they were originally a Bayniverse spin-off if anything. Something about the necessity of combining with sparkless drones because merging fully sentient minds would create "monsters like Devastator", leaving true gestalt technology verboten. Granted, that almost sounds like the IDW-verse take on gestalts, but I'd swear they were originally supposed to be expanded movie stuff.

El Duque wrote:Their bios were revealed to me when I bought them at Wal-Mart last night! They wouldn't ring up, because they aren't supposed to be for sale until black Friday. Anyway I just grabbed both sets and a Mudslinger set, hit the self-checkout, scanned Mudslinger twice, and was out the door.
