If you're requesting that they make a Transformer that looks like a G.I. Joe vehicle (instead of a G.I. Joe vehicle that looks like a Transformer), we already got just that: Energon Snow Catemeraldbeacon wrote:This is a really cool thing... for GIJoe fans that happen to like Transformers. I think it does a great job at bringing a bit of our fandom into their world. What I'd like to see, is for Hasbro do to the opposite, too: Bring a little bit of GIJoe into the Transformers universe. How about Voyager Powerglide repainted in navy blue and red, called 'Rattler'? The recently released Tomahawk in olive drab and silver, as 'Dragonfly', with Terradive repainted as 'Conquest'? There's plenty of interesting military equipment out there these days, too, like Hailstorm/Mindset, Bludgeon/Banzaitron, and Straxus/Skullgrin, not to mention less obvious military units like Hound.
GIJoe has received interesting toys at the last few ComicCons, usually selling out within a day or two. The typically lackluster Transformers offerings (last two years: simple re-releases of G1 toys), however, typically show up on hasbrotoyshop.com a few days later.
C'mon, Hasbro: Give us TRANSFORMERS fans something interesting, too!

Right, which we've had since the Energon line... but that was a cross-line homage, not an explicit connection, like they're doing with this product. To my knowledge, this is the first official union between the TF and Joe lines, in plastic form.
