A competition run by a national censoring body? Wow. Never thought i'd see anything like that.
But then I live in Australia where the OFLC is border-line Nazi-esque.
GO THE IRISH!

Yeah I was suprised as well, I only noticed the competition after following a link to the news section because Manhunt 2 has been banned, the first game to be so in Ireland.

ahhhhh I don't mind you wacky drunken kids. It's your cousins to the south with their ear piercing accents that I don't like.

well i chucked and entry in. in fairness the censor isnt that bad in ireland. you generally have to do something REALLY bad to get banned here nowadays and even then you can probably get shown in the film center in temple bar. you get more arty stuff there but occasionaly you get the stuff that doesnt get general release.
must admit im surprised manhunt 2 was banned .theres adds for it in game shops in the shopping centers but then again we do live in a world where **** idiots will buy 18 cert games for their 5 yr old because they havent the fecking cop on to do the right thing and then blame the game for them being a bad parent . gas thing is these self same people would be appalled if someone sold em a porno
