X-Transbots has updated their facebook page with some new images of their XP-1 Destroyer upgrade set for Encore Devastator. The new images show off the range of articulation they give the G1 Gestalt and the set's packaging. Images mirrored below.

WOW Indeed!! I cant believe this only cost $49.99 at BBTS. And considering that lame add on set(cant remember the name or company) that has like 6 to 8 diff. packs(with crappy packaging to boot) to get the entire set and hell just one of those sets I believe cost me $30 at least. This appears to blow it out of the water, and the packaging is actually SIC as well. I will be picking this set up!!

If they do it in the Gen 2 colours then I'll bite.

Considering the 'cons were only released with the connectors for Devvie in the North American market, the Gen 2 set makes a lot of sense.

I have all the CD stuff and what i hate the most are the fingers. There is no pin to hold it in, and they easily fall out.

I do not see any hinge/pins for the fingers in this set so these fingers may have the same issue?

Same... but whichever party goes yellow and also is first to include shoulder connections for Euro Bonecrusher and Scavenger to connect to hook has my money.

you know what would be cool? If they would stop trying to increase the playability and posability of the combined form, and work on the individual components! Devy may look good with all these bells and whistles, but are the constructicons even worth it for these add-ons? After seeing Hercules, Id'e think not..

Agreed with the wallet raping Crazy Devy adjective! Now that the latter is feeling the heat, has dropped the price of their overpriced upgrade and combined it to a sort of cheapo buffet price.

I mean, how stupid or is it greedy can they be?(CrazyDevy that is).........before the fans will start turning against them.

this doesn't make any sense to me either. i want both the combine form & the tiny bots to have poseabilty. not just the combined form. I prefer giant instead of hercules.

I can't even bring myself to check out how much I paid for the sets these guys KOed off CrazyDevy. I don't much like the new add-ons they made themselves (the chest shield, the crotch peice), but I love that they seemed to fix the hands and added swivels to the legs. If there wasn't an even better Devy in Herculese and Giant I would probably have bought this set to replace those parts of the CD original.

That said, Herc and Giant ARE coming out, so ... I regret buying the stuff for G1 Devy at all. When they came out I thought that was as good as it'd get, but time has proven me wrong.

I was thinking about getting this but am now on the first. I was messing around with the Hercules figures and with encore Devy. Between the two its like going from the Wright Bros flyer to an F-22 and I think adding modern touches to the original kinda ruins it. It was one thing when Hercules or Giant werent an option so modding up the original was your only option. Now I think leaving Devy original and placing next to the new figures as a nostalgia piece is the way to go.

a few things i noticed were he pratically had to hold the figure the entire time for the review which makes me wonder if he can even stand let alone pose like the images weve seen. and that led feature looks like shockwaves head was transplanted onto devastator. also those fingers leave much to be desired.

as others have said with the advent of herc and giant there doesnt seem to be much need for these addons unless you want to give devy an update which i dont. >:oP

Not exactly a ringing endorsement but if I had the original Constructicons I'd bite. Especially over CrazyDevy. They cost more for a single part than this does in total.

Even if I had the money for Herc or Giant the wife wouldn't let me drop $600 on something like them. I did get the all clear for a G1 RI with this add-on kit. More than reasonable for me and even better I didn't get hosed trying to get all the CD parts.

Just thought I'd let you know YAHobby is offering TFC Hercules six figures for 500.00 shipped with their discount code as opposed to 630.00 from TFSource and BBTS. I had to wait for the six but saving money is more important.

Wish we had known this was the case. There was alot of hype and assumption that the first figures would be sold out by the time the last one came out.
