Seeing as Leonard Nimoy did the voice of Galvatron in the original Transformers movie, I would love for him to do it again in the next Transformers Movie.(If Megatron becomes Galvatron in the next movie )

Yes, he's alive, and apparantly starring in Star Trek XI.

Personally, though his Galvatron was much better than Welker's (who sounded suspiciously like Fred from Scooby Doo on more than one occasion), I feel it would be too close to Weaving's Megatron. And I heard somewhere he didn't like doing the voice of him, so I doubt he would come back.

I'm sure Nimoy would like it much more on a much bigger budget.

Are you being sarcastic? Because everyone knows Frank Welker did the voice of Fred from Scooby Doo. Along with a thousand other voices which had many similarities. I guess there is a limit to just how many completely different voices a person can do before they start sounding similar to something else.

Megatron is dead and he's the only villain they could bring in for a majority of the next film.

Megatron might be dead but if they decide to go the Transformers way he could come back. The allspark WAS shoved into his chest.

Well there has to be a main bad guy for the second movie, so it's either Megatron or Galvatron. Either way they are the same character. So either they resurrect/rebuild Megatron as himself or into Galvatron. There really isn't much more they can do. Unless Bay decides to introduce a brand new main bad guy, which I think everyone would have a fit over. I'm not much of a fanboy, but even I would be a little upset if it wasn't Megatron/Galvatron. Gotta stick to the canon somewhat, right?

If they bring back megatron he will still be megatron. He wont just start calling himself galvatron now.

Or they could use Shockwave. You know, the guy was Decepticon leader in the marvel G1 comics. Granted, it was on and off, but the canonicity is there for it.

Why not Nimoy as Megatron on his return?

The script can say his vocal processor was cleaned up under the ocean pressure.

They could also use soundwave, after all, the dcon insignia is modelled after his head.

I personally am sure that Megatron will come back and not necessarily as Galvatron.

Yes, this has been a recurrence for many years now, but this is the universe with no truly recognizable Decepticons except in name with Starscream and Megatron. Now as far as I know the background of Prime and Megatron, and of Cybertron has yet to be fleshed out completely, and the designs of the movie characters must have cost too much to simply throw away after 15 minutes of screen time.

Furthermore, we are not aware of any Unicron, Giant Planet, or any other catalyst that might upgrade Megatron. As far as we know the most powerful being in this universe is Lord High Protector Megatron, or someone behind the Allspark cube itself, which is unknown.

So therefore if Megatron comes back he will remain such and assimilate an Earth form, until then he is Megatron and not Galvatron. Remember this is movie continuity, completely new reboot.

There are too many galvatrons as it is, Why not for a change lets just have Megatron stay as Megatron. But if Galvatron should come in, Lenord Nimoy should voice him again.

I rekon that chunk of Allspark Prime pulled out of Meg's chest kept a small part of his spark...um...sparking for a lack of a better word, and he is regaining his strength until he is ready to emerge and reign chaos across the lands once more!

Nimoy as Galvatron would be awesome, although as stated Weaving's Megatron already sounds a lot like Nimoy's Galvatron.

As for how to bring back/reformat Megatron so that you COULD turn him into Galvatron - my idea was that his spark probably fused to the Allspark and caused him to join with its creator: Unicron, who uses the Allspark to infect worlds, causing the lifeforms created by it to ultimately fight each other and render the planet a lifeless husk so that he can consume its raw matter in a bid to re-build his corporeal form. To remake Megatron into his herald, the linkage causes Megatron's body to heat up and burn through the ocean floor, into the magmatic layers beneath Earth's crust, burning and melting and warping his metal structure through a hot-dip galvanization process (hence his new moniker) into something that looks almost demonic/dragonlike; then have him burst from the ocean floor on the other side of the globe and up through the waves Gojira-style, slagging a passing ship as he thunders into the clouds.

I didn't say it was a GOOD idea...

Megatron with new alt mode and new voice. Hopefully, with a new face too!

Megatron has the allspark in his chest, so if he does come back, he's going to be POWERFUL.

As far as being galvatron, I'm for it, he it be better than Megatron V2.

However, Keeping Beast Wars in mind a megatron upgrade doesn't always mean Galvatron. When Megatron became a dragon in BW he was a more powerful Megatron.

But since the Allspark, a thing with raw power, is in Megatron, I think this thing is going to reshape him and put him though a Galvatron style change.

I heard somewhere that the reason they didn't use the original Megs/Galvatron voice actor was that his voice was too soft to fit the character that was shown in the 2007 movie.
They wanted it more harsh and monstrous.

Nimoy's voice is harsh enough. And much better than Mr. Smith.
