Re: Voltron vs. Power Rangers
Neither would win as MegasXLR would come Tear off the legs of lion voltron, and the legs of the megazord and put them on. Then the dragonzord would come and Coop would Put that on. MEGAS ALWAYS WINS

people voting for MMPR are 90's babies without the same nostalgia and sense of AWESOME that the older generation has.
Looking at ONLY statistics and trying to throw all of my own personal nostalgia aside, I would say:
In a person vs. person fight, it would be a close fight but I would have to give the edge to the MMPR...they were teenages granted improved strength, agility and fighting ability by their connection to Zordon. Although the Space Explorers (as they were known before being dubbed the "Voltron Force") were a specially trained combat unit, magic enhancement would trump.
However, in a robot vs. robot fight, Voltron has the clear edge. The individual Zords were never shown to have any individual fighting ability, indeed were only shown on screen for at most 60 seconds and then only as a precursor to forming the MegaZord. The lions, however, each had a full weapons compliment with flame-breath, missiles, mouth-blades, etc...and often spent alot of time ripping stuff up BEFORE needing to form Voltron.
The guys posting a "Toy versus Toy" comparison...asking about materials and comparative sizes, etc...clearly Voltron has the edge here too. The MMPR toys were made in the classic "90's cheap" mode...out of light plastic and cheap molds. Voltron, as we all remember, was diecast metal and weighed like 20 pounds when you put him together. If you assembled both robots and held them apart one in each hand and rammed them together, Megazord would shatter into a bazillion pieces and Voltron would'nt suffer a scratch.

This comment sounds strangely familiar...

If you remember, they weren't "with attitude" at all. And the PR would actually have a chance. The tank mode rocks.

Well, being a fan of both, I'd honestly say Power Rangers. With Voltron, the pilots were trained to operate it. With the megazord, the Power Rangers were just given the knowledge of how to pilot it and it felt natural to them, just by activatng their powers for the first time. I'd say I'd trust whoever naturaly knows how to operate something rather than someone who was trained. If you think about it, it makes alot of sense. I can deffinately get deep into this conversation if you want.
EDIT: Forgive me for not adding this to my last post. I was kinda half-assed multitasking at the moment

Power Rangers got minimum wage. Voltron got zero wage. Power Rangers win.
