He's had eons and eons and millenia upon millenia to undergo enough changes to his character to become the character he is in the Prime cartoon. Don't forget, there's SO MUCH time that occurs between the two eras.

Though, if this game includes Cybertron-based battels, hopefully they're only at the beginning of the game and then shift to the other colony worlds, since the 'Bots and 'Cons left Cybertron at the end of the previous story.
Exodus was a contradicting, poorly edited mess. TF:Prime is disappointing as well.
So keep WFC2 as far away as possible from both please!

BTW, when I analyzed Exodus, the only contradictions within it were very minimal ones that could be explained away in a simple manner.

Having struck out on his own, GRIMLOCK eventually found himself leader of the DINOBOTS, a special operations strike force unit that can power through most barricades and DECEPTICON strongholds. During a battle with the DECEPTICON SCORPONOK, GRIMLOCK’s vocal processors were damaged, leading to his awkward and distinct way of speaking. If GRIMLOCK has a weakness, it is his larger than Prime ego and his lack of patience.

also I fail to see the contradictions. there's millions of years between WFC and prime, different alt modes and personality =/= CONTRADICTIONSSSSSSSS. Things change, especially with the long timeline and, well, the war. I don't see how making this be in the aligned/prime continuity will ruin this forever, when it was meant to be in this in the first place. If anything, it'd be
to suddenly make this OUT of this continuity.

Yep. Maybe (hopefully) this will deal with the Ark launch and will shift the conflict over to the other colony worlds.
