Sabrblade wrote:Chronologically, the Beast Wars took place on Earth after the Ark and Nemesis crash-landed there and before the Autobots and Decepticons awoke from their slumber. The story of Earthrise is the Ark and Nemesis's journey to Earth through space, culminating in the ships crash-landing there.aronjlove wrote:I know there have been leaks and other stuff, but how exactly is this going to happen? If this trilogy, like the previous, is following a storyline, how does Earthrise end that leads into Beast Wars??? Kingdom can just as easily mean Megatron rules Cybertron as his kingdom, especially if he reformats everyone into Decepticons.
Well, *I* didn't report the rumors because they were still in their hearsay stages. It wasn't until the SS Leader Slag w/ Daniel listing came about that these Kingdom rumors had any kind of tangible validity to them. And even then, that was just one thing the guy got right. There needed to be more confirmations or something more concrete to this in order for these rumors to feel legit enough to be newsworthy.william-james88 wrote:Simple, its because abosolutely no one informed the staff of this. Also, that source is not the only one to have seen some stuff, but everything must remain a rumour until we have proof.

SS Hot Rod is rumored to come with a ton of accessories like the arm saw and visor, which might bump the plastic parts count up to Voyager class.sol magnus wrote:Why make Hot Rod a voyager if Rodimus Prime is a leader, unless they are in fact the same figure except one has a trailer? Looked like a Voyager to me.sol magnus wrote:While Scourge being a Voyager isn't a shock, IIRC that Cyclonus we saw looked almost like a Deluxe. Anybody else have that feeling?

I could very well be misremembering. I've not seen the photo in a good long time.

I don’t even think I’ve seen what this rumored Scourge looks like, only that one leak with Maverick, Thrust, Cyclonus, (Earth mode?) Soundwave and Hubcap.

No, photo is of the Cyclonus (but it wasn't an Earth mode).

Also, it should be noted that Hot Rod and Rodimus are in 2 different lines. Each line has it's own scale and different classes as well as different definitions of classes (such as leader class). I wouldn't compare the two that readily. A studio series voyager could be just a head taller than a WFC deluxe.
Rumors have mentioned Rodimus having a trailer, while Scorponok being rumored at all suggests Season 1 Maximals and Predacons (which would make sense for the brand unification since Japan liked BW Season 1 the best).AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Have any of these rumours specified alt-modes? The G1 time travellers might not have vehicle modes, after all. Alternatively they might enter in at the Transmetal stage, as with The Agenda.

After all, you guys don't just go posting news about any old rumors. Any guy on the Internet can claim to have super secret inside sources and call any nonsense "rumors". You guys go for the real deal. And up until very recently, these Kingdom rumors hadn't quite gotten there yet for news-reporting.

Not sure, but the Metals line flopped over there.ZeroWolf wrote:Was it ever said what they didn't like about the future seasons?

Maybe they liked the organic beast modes more.
Or maybe Metals just took too long getting there since Takara wanted to wait until Season 3 was done before airing both seasons in one go over there (as Season 2 was too short to air on Japanese television by itself) and the luster just died out in the wait time that was filled by BW Second and Neo.
Either way, Car Robots did reignite the spark of Transformers over there.
