Pretty sure they were Hasbro-original tooling, like the Conehead wing molds. The general design team was the same I reckon, just shifted lines.

Yes! I saw a video Chris McFeely did on that a while back, that was pretty fascinating.

He looks great but he needs his red eyes ... though I'm torn about that though since most Autobots have their proper blue eyes, like this toy has. But Pipes oddly had red eyes to keep with his toy. Or did he have blue in some episodes and red in others? Ugh. Funny I remember him having the red eyes, though I see screenshots of him having both so it must be the toy that makes the red eyes more prominent to me.
I'm pretty sure he had Blue eyes the cartoon. small blue eyes rather than a full visor.

Those look blue to me:

Later when he is installing Metroplex's new Cog he has Red eyes...I'm checking Forever is a long time coming in a minute....

So, how about the no eyes variant

How inconsistent the entire show was.
I was really hoping we'd get to Friday with no more leaks, but clearly Chefatron wants his fifteen seconds in the spotlight.
To those mentioning that Pipes has wrist fillers: no he doesn't.
Also his name is Silverstreak, not Bluestreak. They're doing an irony thing by using the backup trademark.

It's pretty funny to see a note in a TFWiki article that basically says "yeah this figure's color scheme is slightly inaccurate because Hasbro used the image at the top of this article as a reference." The Quintesson Baliff is one examplewilliam-james88 wrote:Jelze Bunnycat wrote:

I don't blame em. If you had one place online that kept record of everything your company did for a brand for free, best use it.

Isn't white the proper color for those parts on the actual Diaclone Blue Datsun though?

^Just curious if you (or anyone else expecting something from Amazon currently) got a shipping notice? Mine still says Rodimus is expected to arrive TODAY by 10pm, but it has neither shipped, nor has my account been charged...I know Amazon has pulled this goofiness before, it is still no less frustrating, especially sometimes when we actually do get items early. I expect the inevitable delay notification any time now...
MeGrimlock78 wrote:Seriously? Ugh, I was looking at my Masterpiece Blue Bluestreak, who has silver instead of white. May as well just toss that in the trash now for this more accurate one...
