We saw the whole line in the official poster and the proposed line in the original art for the pitch. Tarantulus is in neither of those. He was never part of the line up. Same with Terrorsaur.

While I enjoy a good surprise every now and then (and we still get them from exclusives) I can honestly say that a leak has never even a little bit hurt my enjoyment of collecting. I don't think they're providing some sort of service to fans or anything, but I'm not going to condone them either.

I think you might be misinterpreting those specific leaks and rumors. The thing with the alternate head for Blackarachnica was actually about a Selects toy-deco Blackarachnia with a new faceplate representing the toy's non-"mutant" head, which is important because Tarantulas used the "mutant" head. Presumably a Tarantulas would be some kind of store exclusive with a decent amount of retooling, like the Coneheads or Ironhide/Ratchet.

It would take a lot of work to turn Blackarachnia into Tarantulas. I'm skeptical that it's possible.

And with armor, they're just about the same size. I like my Titans Return Galvatron (one of the few TR guys I own). If Galvatron is superior in Kingdom, I'll pony up - but for now I'm good with the one I have.

I could see a heavy retool of TR galvatron works as kingdom galvatron, as the mold itself isn't that bad. However, they gonna need the following change:
- replace the headmaster gimmick with normal head, with actual galvatron helmet.
- remove the jet nosecone. The jet mode is unneeded, and doesn't look that convincing anyway.
- move the cannon attachment to the side of the arm, not on top of it.
- arm panel, to cover the gap from the room the fist left.

Why would a Leader-class figure be reusing engineering that directly from a 5-year-old Voyager-class figure????? Even aside from the fact Chromia's engineering was probably only reused from the POTP Fembots to fit in with them better as a group, which Galvatron doesn't have any equivalent need to, that's a little different than a Deluxe reusing engineering from a Deluxe mold only one year prior.

I'm also fine with TR Galvatron.
My point is that Kingdom Galvy - who Rodimus Prime will have to be on part with height-wise - is going to be as big as TR Galvy or bigger, and trying to get a WFC Leader's Voyager-ish robot to match that height would be a stretch.

I'm going to stop you right there, because you don't have a clue what you're talking about. Removing Galvatron's back spar would make him LESS accurate.





The back spar has been part of his design from the start, both toy and cartoon. It's the rear support of his cannon mode (so right there removing it is a problem), it was the handle of his used-once-in-a-comic-but-only-to-smuggle-him original third mode, and it is prominently visible on his back whenever you see him from behind in the cartoon. It. Has. Always. Been. There. Titans Return merely repurposed it. Whichever smeghead reviewer decried it as something the TR toy added needs to have a collage of screenshots of every time Galvatron is seen from behind stapled to their face.

She is a new mold. She reuses the thighs and that's it. Shared engineering and retooling aren't one and the same.

if Kingdom Galvatron is an extensive retool or reworking of the TR one to fix its many issues, that's fine with me.

IIRC the leakers have been pretty consistently saying Galvatron will have armor pieces that make him more Energon Megatron/Galvatron-ish, and with that info it's safe to assume Kingdom Galvatron will be roughly ER Optimus height, if not a bit taller.

...his legs ARE orange like the toy AND it doesn't look bad, interesting. And with that first pic, anyone who owns both ER Grapple and any use of the Siege/ER Ironhide mold can roughly demonstrate the height difference between Dinobot and Primal.
