Transformers Kingdom T-Wrecks found in Stores
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
This will be good news for those looking for this exclusive figure. The Red Card Early Access Kingdom T-Wrecks is now found in Target stores for the common folk. It has been appearing in either end caps or near the other Transformers in several different Targets across the US. The images below come from Target in Kentucky and Illinois.

Anyone who has core class Megs/Screamer/Prime/Wave, how do you like them? I'm thinking about getting them for display at the office, and since two of them are under $10 for that sale on TF Source, I might do it.

I have Megs and Prime, and I gotta say they're pretty good. Honestly my favorite is Megatron, but I know that's an unpopular opinion

Not that unpopular because of all 3, Megatron is my favorite as well. Despite his humongous backpack, he's quite fun to play with and he looks amazing in both mode. IMO, all the core class figures in the Kingdom line are winners so far. I've yet to get Soundwave though. If you don't have any and there is a sale, you'd be mad to pass them up!

Megatron is pretty cool, nothing special though. IMO, Prime is the worst of the 4... rather blah. Soundwave is cool, and his feet in altmode don't bother me as much as when I saw him in pictures. Starscream surprised me, his transformation is much more fun than I originally thought it would be. Personally, out of the 4, Starscream is my favouriteStarseeker wrote:Anyone who has core class Megs/Screamer/Prime/Wave, how do you like them? I concur, Core Megatron is a delight, in fact he's on the table in front of me as I write this! Prime isn't bad but his truck mode doesn't chinch down as tight as it should which made him a pass for me. Vertabreak is also really good, so those two would bemy recomendations
And Soundwave if you can find him because I still haven't

Haha those pictures are awesome
I was just watching chris mcfeely's transformers: the basics on dinobot video and what a great character he is. Still so hype to have kingdom dinobot, especially because I wanted a good and affordable dinobot for so long. Original was too off, masterpiece is too expensive and Henkei version was too difficult to track down
Kingdom dinobot is great for what he is. Not without flaws but man I love the robot mode and the transformation

So, I have a general question for anyone that's seen Kingdom Wheeljack in person, as well as Earthrise Wheeljack in person: Are the white plastics the same? Because I found a Kingdom Wheeljack at a Target the other day and the plastic seemed a bit of a cleaner white than Earthrise's plastic which to my eye always seemed more in the beige/off-white family

Booooo.
Yeah, they do that for all pre-order products, this has been a thing for a year or two now, I remember they cancelled several pre-orders of mine, and I found those same figures at my local target that same day, it's why I'll literally never pre-order anything from them ever again
Preorders are to ensure you get the figure, I never heard of them being a guarantee to get something first. If you find it at retail, that's awesome, you just cancel your preorder.
No, I'm sorry, that just makes no sense
Why not? That's a go-to tactic for many collectors. Some figures I keep the preorder for if I want one for my son, but that's literally the reason to do it - If I find Rodimus Prime in the wild before Pulse makes my preorder available, I will certainly be cancelling the preorder because my kid isn't getting an 80 dollar figure just yet.

Looks like my local Target plus 2 more relatively close by got another shipment of The Ark this morning. Those looking for it, may want to check their local Targets this morning, or sometime this week.
While most Targets seem to have a tag for this toy, it seems for sure only shipping to certain stores. Brickseek searches 20 Target stores near me, and these are the only 3 that seem to get larger ticket items.
Still no sign of Rodimus...

So I snagged a rodimus from target.com from a great price and was wondering what everyone else thinks of it and whether anyone's had some trouble with the legs not really seeming to have enough clearance to put the tire sections into the leg cavities, because it seems like you just have to completely force them into and out of the legs, and it's giving me so much anxiety

I am not a G1 fan, please treat my opinions as such.

Somebody posted on here that Rodimus 'murdered' Optimus and I was like "and he'll be murdering him again once he gets to my house" (assuming murder to mean Prime gets put away and replaced among the Autobots in his place).

Booooo.
I’ve got it even worse. Target sent me an email on Sunday, July 25 to let me know the Autobot Ark was finally shipping and would arrive July 29. July 29 came, and the only UPS tracking update was “label created.” I called Target and was asked to wait a few days longer. In the meantime, Rodimus Prime, whom I ordered at the same time, in the same preorder back in April, arrived separately without any issue. I called Target again today, since there was still no update whatsoever from UPS. This time, Target said, “oops, it must be lost. Here’s a refund. We don’t have any more in stock.” Let this be a lesson: even if Target doesn’t screw up and cancel your preorder, they’re still going to **** up and make sure you don’t get your preorder.

I had the exact same thing happen to me last year with Target, fortunately it was with smaller items, but still disappointing.
I've had issues BOTH with Target and Walmart. I understand the concept of a pre-order is to guaranty you get the item, not necessarily that you will get it first. However... I will counter that with the poor reputation both Target and Walmart have built for themselves, mismanaging stock of specific items, a pre-order should be honored first, because it is incredibly frustrating to have a pre-order cancelled when you know the exact same item is showing up at retail, even if in limited quantities.
When an item is found in store, and pre-orders are cancelled en masse, there is clearly a larger issue.

If it’s not sheer incompetence, it’s complete apathy. A preorder should be considered a contractual obligation, and if a company breaks contract, they need to be sued as punishment, or they will NEVER change their terrible business practices.

The issue with Target and Wal-Mart is that they don't really care about pre-orders (and in Wal-Mart's case, online orders if the essential oils instead of Transformers thing was real). They make the bulk of their toy sales in store, so they prioritize stocking shelves, not online warehouses. They'd rather have fully stocked shelves than the ability to fill online orders (source: talked to a manager about it one time when I worked there). It really sucks that ToyRUs isn't in the US anymore because even though it was a bit more expensive to buy from them, they still did both B&M, and online, because they were focused on toy sales. Amazon's not completely trustworthy, but they don't have to fill B&M locations with toys, so they're slightly better than Target and Wal-Mart.
End of the day: Target and Wal-Mart are trying to fill ToysRUs' former role in the US, without putting any actual effort into filling that role

Most Walmart stores can’t stock their shelves either! Target usually does better on that end, but not by much, and not consistently.
