I had heard something about that, but was never able to verify. If that's indeed the case, there is no reason they couldn't have recolored it or something. Well I'm not certain it was an actual corporate mandate or branding philosophy or what, but I believe Warden or someone else high up on the design team said basically they want to work in a leader OP in every line.

Pair that with having one in every line since TR, and well, pretty obvious.

Wait, maybe it is so that they can counter all the Siege Megatrons and soon to be Earthrise Megatrons also shelf warming.

He's also on the way in the Netflix line, albeit without a trailer.

I wonder, since we've gotten Cliffy, we're getting Warpath and Bee, will the rest of the Minibots get the deluxe treatment? I have them all in legends scale, and Cliffy from ER, so I'm debating picking up Warpath.

Alright ya got me there, that cover is near-on par with the iconic Shockwave one.

G1 Optimus isn't supposed to be a giant, no. But he is supposed to be bigger relative to the other Autobots than SIEGE and ER Optimus are; they're only a head taller than the G1 toy in robot mode ffs, and the same size in truck mode.

Combiner Wars Optimus scales much better with them in both modes. He's actually chart-perfect with SIEGE Sideswipe.

Greetings Seibertronians! Thanks to fellow Seibertron users, Dominus Prime and -WonkoTheSane-, we've learned that Takara Tomy have shared new images, and new uses for Deluxe Class Fossilizer Paleotrex!

The first tweet shows off Paleotrex's robot mode and it's alt mode.





The second tweet shows Paleotrex's mask gimmick, harking back to the mutant masks of the first Beast Wars toys (while also referencing Optimus Primal's skull mace from his Ultra Class incarnation)





The third tweet, shows off all the components that make up Paleotrex, and two combinations, done with Voyager Class Optimus Primal and Netflix Transformers Deluxe Class Impactor!







These are only the tip of the iceberg regarding the combinations that will be possible using this Fossilizer, something that is multiplied if you factor in Sieges Weaponizers and Earthrise's Modulators into the equation.

Paleotrex's Japanese number is KD EX- 01 as he will be an exclusive on those shores, despite being regular retail everywhere else.

I didn't get Weaponizers or uhh, Rampolizers but I might get the Fossilizers. I'm liking the way they turned out.

Thinking about it, you started collecting again during Combiner Wars? Which was the year after these debuted. So thats probably why you've not heard of them
