Have you heard the rumors that the Ark might be canceled in lieu of two Commander Class figures?

Nothing official, and from what I can tell the source isn't one of the usual suspects.

Unless I missed something (the thread that those rumors come from is long and chaotic), the Ark being cancelled was never said. I believe it was that the Ark would possibly be the last Titan, and that Commanders would be upped to 2 a year at a $100 pricepoint in lieu of Titans.

And rumors are very susceptible to cross talk and people jumping the gun. The Ark may be the last Titan for all we know, with two Commander Class figures the following years. Too many variables for now.

Hasbro will have to seriously up their Commander game if they expect us to pay $100 per figure.

Which isn't the worst idea, Titans take up a ton of space.

If they really are bumping Commanders up to $100 and releasing twice as many per year, this is the perfect opportunity to finally get an amazing Star Saber. =P~

Honestly I hope that the Star Saber would actually be Victory Saber with Star Saber and Victory Leo being Prime Wars sized leaders that are dense, rather than Jetfire height. I know that that's correct scale, but imo it's too big for a non-titan character, especially since Victory Leo would probably have to be the same size for a good combination. Plus, at that size, it'd either be $150 ($100 for Commander Star Saber, $50 for a Leader Victory Leo), or $200 for both of them as Commanders, so having them be smaller, but in the same box, it'd save fans a bit of money.

I agree, Prime Wars height for Star Saber would be perfect IMO. I’ve just accepted it won’t happen in this new era of scale accuracy.

Do we know all the figures planned for release in the Kingdom line? Will we get the entire BW cast (season 1 at least)? Is Rattrap only a core class figure, or will he be deluxe as well down the line?

Yes, here is the article I had written and no we aren't getting all the BW cast since the line is split with G1 characters

You know, I don't know what I would be willing to pay for a Star Saber at PotP Leader size. I'd want him to have all of the features of the original figure and MP, which to me would be a $75 figure, not $100 unless it had some unbelievable features to it. On the other hand Victory Leo is a much simpler figure with a straight forward transformation, basically Leader God Bomber with a more cohesive transformation, doesn't really feel like Commander class to me, more like "tall WFC Leader". I don't know, I don't think I'd be happy with whatever price Hasbro came up for those if they ever did make them, but I'd probably buy them anyway because I'm a sucker. [-(

I am honestly very disappointed that Titan could end before we got a Tidal Wave. He seriously deserves a Titan. A Commander will do, but he was worthy of being a Titan.

I hope they revive the pricepoint down the road for an Iaconus

Would also have liked a Titan Tidal Wave, I'd preorder him and Black Zarak the second they were available. I'd be happy enough space and money wise with a G1 Metrotitan reissue -if the KO companies could do it from the encore it shouldnt be that hard for Hastak to do.

Wouldn't have minded the Combiners with shells like Monstructor falling into titan class as long as they made the shells articulated in a good way.

So I opened my Warpath last night, and man is he short. If we're going for cartoon accuracy, he was never as short as he is in Earthrise on the show. I'm still happy with him, but seeing him be basically a midget to Sunstreaker and Hoist just looks off. He looks about the right height for Brawn, so that gives me some hope.

I suppose since he is a minibot, they want to make him shorter than the others. I am just glad that they at least have some sense to not make him cliffjumper short, which is something i admittedly have prepared myself for.

I actually like what they've done in varying the heights in WFC, especially in the deluxes where we have even more variance between Cliff on the small side and Ironhide/Hoist on the tall end. As long as they keep rounding things out for the smaller bots with more intricate transformations and additional accessories, I'm okay with this approach. It does really look good in a display when everyone for a certain size class is not the exact same height.

I love the varying heights, I just think in the case of Warpath it's not quite right. Yes, he's a minibot and they all hued smaller, but Warpath was on the larger side of minibot. I'm sure the designers sort of looked at the available evidence and made a decision, but I'd have made him at least slightly taller than he turned out to be.

I'm not returning him to the store or anything. It's minor.

Commander Class Tidal Wave would be more fitting (he is still just armor for Megatron after all). He was only out-of-scale big in the Ps2 video game. But I'm still hoping for a Black Zarak from TT Selects. A Metrotitan wouldn't be bad either.

An Omega Sentinel/Guardian Robot and Gigastorm are candidates as well, but I wouldn't purchase those myself.

As for all NEW Titans, I still want a Majin Zarak.... But honestly, if they stop making them for a while (nothing is ever permanent), after 2021 I'm ok with it.

I'm right there with everyone who mentions Star Saber (or a Victory Saber Combo with Victory Leo). Commander Class, or 2 Leaders that combine, I'd take either one honestly. At this point, the rumors of a CC Rodimus are very disappointing. I can't imagine the amount of accessories needed to justify $80, or why they'd even be necessary.
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

On Sunday, I was able to grab Primal and Warpath at my usual Target, and I could see, around the massive family that decided they all needed to go to the store together, there were a few Black Arachnia and Cheetor figures. They are freaking gone! All that was left was the Buzzworthy Bumblebee Core Bee and Daniel. Even most of that was sold. I still got Cheetor and BA on preorder with Amazon, but I was hoping to finish Wave 1.

That's why I think that it should be a combo pack with both in the same box for 1 Commander, cause then it breaks down to $50 each which makes it a bit easier to stomach (not by much, but a bit  ). Plus, as you say, because Victory Leo isn't complex, that would leave more room in the budget for Star Saber to get more parts to make him full featured. Though, I wonder if they would do the Brainmaster properly, or if they would make it a Titanmaster type deal for the gimmick...
