So you are calling me simple? Just kidding...I know I am
At any rate, I'm not sure how much of a difference it would make, but it is a nice thought.

Were those just flukes though? Like 1 in 20,000?

I see. Good to know. i'm rather confused why he's there.
Probably cuz hasbro's doing a second production run of the seacons, the pre-orders were up on pulse a while ago

And it seems Takara's pricing is a bit higher. 14,300 yen. discounted for pre-order to 9980 yen by AmiAm and 9100 Yen by Anime Export
Not sure I'm willing to pay 140 bucks for Roddy. That's MP pricing now.
If Hasbro's MSRP is indeed $80, I'll get it. but not paying anything over $100 bucks.

It's kind of crazy that the Basic Rattrap now costs the same as the Deluxe Cheetor, especially since they don't come in a case together.
The scuttlebutt is that Hasbro had to reengineer the Rattrap mold from the ground up, rather than this release being a simple reissue of an existing mold.alekese wrote:After a certain point, clearing out the mothballs, dredging the mold out of storage and making any modifications necessary for compatibility after 25 years of assembly line innovation is probably a more relevant cost factor than materials cost. Also, I'd imagine rattrap's spring driven automorph gimmick would be the sort of thing that 25 years of aging wouldn't play nice with, and would need touching up, if only to insure it complies with any changes in safety standards. Alternatively and/or additionally, if it helps, think of it as a discount on Cheetor, who they otherwise would have charged more for.

Second run was a while ago (and done by Takara Tomy, Hasbro just distributes), anything that's been showing up on Pulse since has been leftover stock from their warehouse. Takara Tomy also recently put a bunch of stuff on Takara Tomy Mall as a warehouse sale.

Im not sure about CW itself. I know the entire PotP line was leaked a year in advance. I mean we know pretty much what all of Kingdom wave 3 (standard retail) will be, even though no official product shots/pics of the toys have been shown, so I guess there is improvement there. Also now with selects and so many retailer exclusives, I guess the leaks are a bit more hard to come by.
Also just curious, I was in a Walgreens the other day, all they had were 2 Airrwaves (although that is the first time I've seen any ER anywhere since mid-January). I'm not even sure if they are getting any Kingdom toys, or has there been a rumored Exclusive for Walgreens yet for Kingdom?

Oh, I meant how the leaks were presented with the cropped artwork being mirrored and all that jazz.
As for Walgreens, I think the Exclusive has been talked about but I can't for the life of me remember who it is

Leaks then: "Here's 6 cut and resized images of Computron's boxart, try to fit them together."ZeroWolf wrote:Oh, I meant how the leaks were presented with the cropped artwork being mirrored and all that jazz.
Yet just like with scalpers, most members of the fandom keep fueling them because they keep paying them attention by posting them on websites long before they're even confirmed to be true or false.Autobot N wrote:Leaks then: "Here's 6 cut and resized images of Computron's boxart, try to fit them together."ZeroWolf wrote:Oh, I meant how the leaks were presented with the cropped artwork being mirrored and all that jazz.
Leaks now: "Hey I got this picture of this figure my friend stole from a factory and I'm gonna make a secret discord to share it with my friends while making up fake leaks to trick other leak discords, oh no some guy got tired of our elitism and told everyone what we were talking about."
Honestly, I thought the old leaks were more fun.
Huh. Not bad. Looks a bit simple and bulky, but not bad. Can't wait for the Selects version.aronjlove wrote:
