That's probably just representing the Earthrise Starscream repack in the mainline, since Dinobot and Waspinator (both mainline releases) are also on the box in similar prominence.

The comparison with Prime there, mean s this thing even though at commander class price point will be smaller than PotP Rodimus in vehicle mode.
Hopefully the engineering and accessories make up that price difference.

It's funny, they went to the trouble of articulating his hands just so he could point at Galvatron accusingly and tell him "Its the end of the road..."

The fact he can store the sword under his Cybertronian crossover mode means all his weapons can be stored without needing his winnebago around, or if it's in Battle platform mode.

Anyway, can't wait for him to be released so I can add him to by siggy pic.

Have not updated it with SS86 Roddy for that very reason.

The Commander Class keeps getting weaker with every new release. I'm sure Hasbro is trying to figure out a way to squeeze Bumblebee into the Commander Class.

So far, Rodimus look amazing.
I've yet to see the weapon platform in its full glory.

Rodimus may be slightly taller than Optimus, but the real takeaway from that last picture is his enormous yaoi hands.

Making some comparison's, Rodimus is about MP-28's height which is taller, than PotP's Hot Rod. Also the only other Commander class figure in this type of Commander Class we have to compare to is Jetfire which is fairly simple in engineering even if it does include a ton of accessories.

I think most of the price is going into his transformation, the legs alone look like they do a lot to compress into his vehicle mode and the trailer is still a big honking piece of plastic there.

If anything however, it makes ER Optimus' hands look too tiny. I guess it is almost inevitable now that we will get an "Even More Accurate" Prime in CC within the next year or two. I personally don't want it, and don't really see how it is possible (ER is fine for me), but Hasbro will do it somehow... Beefing up mostly the trailer, but his body slightly also.

BTW, I do have the Centurion drone set, and the rifle and axe that come with it for Prime are really nice. Roller is just o.k.

Wow - Rodimus looks grumpy in this figure. Maybe he's thinking like, "They dedicated the entire MOVIE to getting rid of Optimus so I could take over. And he was STILL more popular when he was dead than I was alive!"

These recent pictures do make his face look off again to me.
There are parts of this that look good, but overall, not enough for me to get him.
I'm a little surprised they didn't make the sword fit under the vehicle pointed in the other direction...
Not that the handle looks that much like an exhaust pipe, but that's better than a random silver "fin" sticking out from the bottom.
And I get it, the trailer will cover that up when combined. But still... Seems a little odd.

Hot Rod/Rodimus even in the MP line has never had a face that suits the character. Give me something that's a little more "Jubliant."

Every new release? This is only the third one and Sky Lynx is widely considered better than Jetfire. I wont judge Rodimus until I have him in hand.

It wasn't a rumor, but most likely an error on Amazon AU's part for listing Nightprowler with Sideswipe.


The real question is HOW did they make that mistake, they wouldn't have come up with that name on their own? There's a good chance Nightprowler will happen if Hasbro is accidentally feeding his name to Amazon.

Perhaps there's a third Battle Across Time set that either the leaker didn't know about or was decided upon after the leaker saw the first two. The second one with Skywarp and someone else (Hound is the only other bot I can think of who hasn't had an Earth mode retool yet) and the third one with Sideswipe and Nightprowler. Or maybe Nightprowler has been moved out of the twin-packs and into Generations Selects or some other exclusive.

But Rodimus Prime wasn't a very jubilant character...even in the end speech of the movie, he wasn’t that happy. Hot Rod was happy go lucky, rodimus has the world on his back
