As for parts, price, are they worth it? The debate I don't think will ever end, especially as prices continue to rise. I'm glad to have picked up ER Prime for about $40, because that is what I think it was worth. Additionally, I don't think CC Rodimus is worth more than $60, but we will see.

Walmart stupidly put CC Jetfire at 1/2 off, and never restocked CC. Getting Skylynx at Target wasn't too hard, but never went on sale. I do think Amazon had a brief sale, but both CC sold very well. Getting CC Rodimus on sale is no guaranty, even though I don't personally think it is worth it. A Great $50-$60 toy, not $80 is all I am saying.

I did the same for Earthrise OP, only got it when the price was right because the trailer wasn’t worth the full price.
CC Skylynx didn’t go on sale but Target had that 25% off coupon over the holidays that did put him at the $60 price point. The pandemic screwed with suppliers so who knows if retail orders were cancelled or just put on hold. So it’s possible you could get CC Rodimus Prime for a better price if not necessarily a sale.

Around here only Target carries the commander class figures, I guess I'll have to start checking mine. I'm really on the fence over this figure, having it in hand will decide for me.

I think Target is the ONLY B&M carrier of CC in the U.S. However I would not go searching any time soon. That release, like wave 3 Galvatron was super early. U.S. Release is not supposed to be until around September, no doubt the rest of the world will probably get it before then.

Yeah i figured that, it'll probably be July or August when I'll start looking. My Wal-Mart sold Jetfire, and marked him down almost immediately, so I think they decided not to do commander class. My target had 2 Sky Lynxes total since that figure's release, and I picked up the 1st one.

I also saw a couple of comments saying in the US he will be a Red Card exclusive.

So what is that Dinomus supposed to be? Is it a misprint? Or a new character using a Dinobot repaint?

And by now is it a certainty that the leader Megatron was never released with that snarling face variant that T-Wrecks appears to have?

And as I look at that T-Wrecks in the wild, I can't help but think 'holy crap what a cheap money grab by Hasbro.' That plain, bland chest is just offensive.

That's a sweet design and it would be great if a toy is made of it. Perhaps Dinobot ends up becoming Dinomus in the Netflix cartoon? Unicron has appeared in the cartoon already, so the foundation is there for that kind of storyline.
As much as I like the Kingdom Megatron mould, I have no interest in buying T-Wrecks, but at the very least it's nice that they did some new art for his packaging and didn't just re-colour Megatron's box art.

Who wants to bet that the Netflix show forgoes Dinobot's Maximal defection and instead makes him Unicron's herald, Dinomus, as the new final boss of the cartoon (with Megatron changing his fate by evolving into Beast Megatron instead of Galvatron and Prime becoming Primal)?

It's possible. It's also possible that it is something shown in a vision for just one second ala Nemesis Prime. Dinobot stares into the Golden Disk and sees it as one possible outcome for himself.

@aronj- That is awesome about Rhinox. I recently gifted Kingdom Dinobot to a friend of mine's son. My friends favorite character is Rhinox to which i gifted him just a piece of paper saying "Coming in September"- I'd be super excited to be able to give it to him early. The DPCI actually works on brickseek. Not sure how accurate that site is any more though. It helped getting ER Scorponok last year

At $120 Canadian this is horribly over priced. He's only labeled as leader class because it's Rodimus Prime. I'll stick to my G1 RP. THe difference in value and bang for your buck between Skylynx, Jetfire and this voyager class Rodimus is stark to say the least.

I think you meant Commander Class. Also, yes the price is quite divisive among fans, but not for the reason you stated. I don't think the name Rodimus Prime, or even the character in fiction was the determining factor in making it CC. If you look at PvP video review, the dimensions of Rodimus' trailer and ER Optimus' trailer are practically the same, it's just that Rodimus trailer has a lot more going on with it. Added Plastic, added engineering, and more accessories equates to a $30 price hike business decision by Hasbro. Some are ok with it, and some are not.

Obviously to me, it's not that simple. I agree the toys are getting better designs, and more complex engineering, QC issues aside. But is it worth it? Not to me. I got ER Astrotrain and Prime at the beginning of 2020 at Target BOGO 1/2 off, so in total, I paid just under $40 for each. I got Doubledealer on sale from Amazon for about the same price. I paid Full Price for both Siege Jetfire & ER Skylynx, because to me, they were worth it.

Although what Kingdom Rodimus has going for it, may be more than any current Leader Class toy, can anyone rightfully say it has the complexity, engineering, etc... of Jetfire or Skylynx? I know a few people have postal scales. I'd like to see the sheer weight of all 3 CC figures compared. Again, I'm not saying I am right or wrong, but if Rodimus has enough *heft* to equal either of the former CC toys, I would be impressed, and it would sway my opinion in favor of Rodimus' CC status.
