The Ravage is the Pulsecon exclusive (or maybe SDCC, but leakers say Pulsecon). It also matches the Pit of Judgement with its mural, line-adjacent branding, and cardboard insert being a display piece (also it as a slot for G1 Ravage).

The Worlds Collide pack should be a Target exclusive (probably with some Pulse availability since it's pretty hefty and has some collector-oriented stuff) but apparently it was found at a Canadian Walmart. Do Canadian Walmarts carry the Buzzworthy line?

US Walmarts carry the SS Buzzworthy stuff but that core-class 2-pack is Target exclusive.

That... shouldn't be possible, all Buzzworthy releases are supposed to be Target releases, aren't they? Even the SS stuff. 3rd Party vendors maybe (they need to crack down on them...)?

Yeah, never seen a price tag for buzzworthy at any walmart that I've gone too, not that I can provide any evidence that walmarts in my area even stock transformers

Huh, I may be remembering wrong then but I could have sworn I saw the SS Buzzworthy stuff in Walmart.

Overquoting to say that Buzzworthy is Target exclusive in its entirety, while US Wal-Marts have RED, and Netflix as exclusives

I don't ever remember pulsecon exclusives being overpriced, they usually have come out about even with the retail cost of the figures in the set - the only wild card this time round being the die-cast in g1 ravages, if indeed it even is still metal. Also, I haven't seen anyone on here saying that they missed out on the pit of judgement set after hasbro did that second production run of it, so I'm really not quite sure what you're on about, with this being $90>:oP

If you're in the UK, you should be able to get a Ravage directly now. I don't think Pulse was available there when the Pit released. Reasonably speaking, Ravage should be about 30 USD, but I'm not 100% on that guess.

That Ravage set. YES! Is that dual pistols with lazer pointers I see?

As for the other set, the Blackarachnia is glorious, I'll whale for that wonderful Cliffjumper mold as many times as they want to release it, and I've always dreamed of a Nemesis repaint of Series 1 Primal. I'm not a Fangry fan, but I love Titans Return.

I don't understand their connection though. What's the set's theme?

They had me at Fangry.

Not sure if anyone else has said this, in regards to the four accessories with the Ravage set...I only see 1 BW gun, and 2 G1 guns...I think the 4th is the little "cassette hatch" that's packaged below cassette-Ravage.

The 2nd BW gun is obscured a bit by the cardboard on the left side.

Blackarachnia looks awesome. Great deco on an awesome mold. Kinda wish she was available separately because I'd buy the slag out of her even though I have the standard version.
Fangry is cool and it's nice he's gotten a figure. I don't have much connection to the character but oh well.
Nemesis Primal is good but I feel a black repaint of a black toy is always going to look a bit odd. I would have preferred the Universe 2003 deco for something a bit different.
Bumblebee would be a lot cooler if he had the Bayverse black stripes. As is he's just Hubcap with Bee's head. Not awful but the weakest of the set, and as I'm quite happy with my custom police Bumblebee, I'd probably sell him off.
Still, good looking set! Might spring for it depending on how money is when it goes up for preorder.

Cheetahs have a different face shape and thinner limbs from Greater cats (specifically jaguars or leopard). While I don't expect Hasbro to redo the limbs for Shadow Panther (they didn't for Ravage), at least giving him a bulkier cat head would be nice.

That being said, if they didn't it probably wouldn't be as much of a bother as MP Shadow Panther who looks rancid (I know the BW models hold a place in people's hearts but... CGI and modelling skills are very different nowadays and that cheetah face is rough). I'd also really love it if Shadow Panther had a slight leopard print like many leopard panthers do to help differentiate him from Ravage.

I'm working on sorting the 900 photos I took today. Of course I can't just do these galleries. I set myself up so that I can finish up the non-essential galleries over the next week or two (such as Generations Selects Hubcap, Netflix Bumblebee and so on). I should have the galleries completed for Fangry and Brisko. I'll finish up Worlds Collide Nemesis Primal, Blackarachnia and Bumblebee over the next few days.

Man, it is so wild that, with Nemesis Primal, we now have not one but TWO "black repaints" of Optimus Primal's season 1 body, the first of which being the RobotMasters Beast Convoy Limited Black Version.









And then there's the POTP Throne of the Primes version of Optimus Optimus that is likewise a "black repaint" of that form of his (though, his inner robot based on his season 1 body is pretty much unchanged from the normal version).




There's even the OG black repaint of his Basic class bat body, Onyx Primal.




All we need now is a black repaint of Transmetal Optimus Primal to complete the black versions of all of his Beast Wars (just Beast Wars) bodies.

I also don't think of it in terms that "Volkswagen won't let Hasbro do it," because the only way to do it is with a deal. It's entirely possible that it just comes down to money. Or maybe VW just isn't interested anymore since they've discontinued making Beetles and there's no point in marketing them? I don't have any inside information, and I can't make it make sense. These things happen or they don't. If you think Transformers has it bad, just think about all the toymakers for film franchises where they have to negotiate likeness rights with individual actors.

Agreed. Considering that Porsche is going to be in the next Transformers movie, I'm assuming that we'll get more Volkswagen Bumblebee products in the near future. Why release Volkswagen products now and pay extra for licensing, when there's likely a deal in the works for the next Transformers film? Seems pretty obvious what's going on now that we know Volkswagen is still involved with the film franchise.

Can you confirm that Fangry doesn't come with any guns?

Ah, see, your mentioning the next movie made me think you meant we'd get more VW Bumblebee toys because of Movie Bumblebee being a VW again, despite his becoming a Camaro at the end of his own movie.
