Emerje wrote:Yeah, that's definitely not "very good" condition. Often parents will buy stuff like this for their kids, the kids can't figure it out so the parent returns it and it ends up in the Warehouse. I've bought stuff from the Warehouse without issue before, but I would definitely take issue with something being outright broken. Did they give you a refund or are you waiting for it to come in stock so they can send you a replacement?

They gave me a refund and said I can keep it. Just waiting for the refund to come back. I am glad I can get the head to stay on in robot mode since that's how I display them.

Does this make you officially Seibertron's "Pillow Guy"? You're even with a destroyer of worlds!

now to wait another 3+ months for Amazon to actually get this figure in stock. Thanks though amazon for letting me keep the figure for a stand in.

You know what, since you have nothing to lose in this case, why not file a request on Hasbro's website. Say you bought this toy and it came to you broken and you can't transform it. They will send you a replacement product. Most probably not Tigatron, but hey, you'll get a brand new product for free.

I was honestly thinking about it since it was still tied to the plastic insert and wasn't a loose figure

Isn't that a little bit..."PvP" though, or am I reading that wrong?

by managing to secure a replacement I meant I bought a new one from amazon and won't bother with Hasbro

You're reading EVERYTHING wrong.
You're obsession is clouding your judgement. How about moving on before you allucinate PvP everywhere you look? This is getting creepy.
Returning Hasbro's broken crap to Hasbro for something random is pretty standard fare. Regardless if you already have been refunded by the seller or not.

No, I meant, am I reading the bit about getting a refund from Amazon AND a free replacement from Hasbro. If I've read that right, then that's DEFINITELY as I've stated above, as it's akin to stealing.Autobot N wrote: Who cares?
I think many do, actually. If we get one over companies in situations like this, then we've got no right to complain when companies do the same to us. We can't have it both ways.
